THis hits super close to home... it's been super hard recently to get over my ex and past friends that hurt me constantly, ones that i thought could change, they never did... I'm really glad you were still able to find peace with yourself, through everything you've been through, I just hope one day I could do the same. ;w;

You absolutely can, it really does just take time and patience with yourself. You weren't hurt overnight, and you won't heal overnight. Things to get better, it just takes time. I'm sorry to hear you've dealt with similar things; I'm afraid that this is an all-too-common thing, and this will probably hit home for a lot of people.
