I am 64 too, Its nice to watch/listening to talents like this ( Erik ), grow up with rock and roll ( Led Zeppelin/Deep Purple etc....beginning of the 70s and punk in the late 70s :)
You are not alone. This 71 yo loves everything about symphonic metal. Especially if they redo songs of the 80's and 90's when they knew how to do music. I'm so glad that there are a few bright spots in this day and age. Our kids don't know what they're missing.

I've only listened to 3 so far, but as far as they are concerned, I agree with Mike. While he's no Steve Perry, he still did a pretty darn good job on "Faithfully." On "Always", he totally nailed it and even sounded just like Jon on most of it, but there were spots where I could tell the difference. Lastly, even thought "Alone" by Heart has two female voices on it, Erik and Chez Kane were awesome! If "Always" is any indication, Erik could probably take Jon's place, but then it wouldn't be Bon Jovi anymore. I'd settle for Erik joining a Bon Jovi tribute band.

What How Where have I been not to hear this guy???? I am in awe of this voice.....he can sing anything, and I love how he honors the songs he sings of others...he doesn't try to be cheesy or them he just flat out makes it his own and OWNS IT LIKE IT WAS HIS!!!! Dang Gina!!
You should hear him live with Skid Row...I saw them with Scorpions in Vegas Last year...He sounded better than Sebastian did 30 years ago

Wish rock could resurge again, the 80s and 90s were great eras, with amazing music, but streaming declined sales. Now artists need to tour to make money. This bring a lot of great memories. Erik is pure gold. One of the best singers of this era.

Bon Jovi and Skid Row are 2 of my favorite bands of all time and they have a special place in my heart ❤️ The first concert I attended was Skid Row and Bon Jovi in 1989 during the New Jersey tour, unforgettable ! I never believed that someone could replace Sebastian Bach and you succeeded brilliantly 😀 And there this magnificent version of one of my favorite Bon Jovi songs gives me chills ❤
