Healing begins with coming out of the darkness into the light. Finding someone to trust to tell what happened. Groups are good since you have common ground in your trauma. Finding a right councilor is normal. Trust is number one. Then after trust is built, they listen and try to heal. I can relate. Men are a stigma in the double standard. Its opening up now where men; especially older men who grew up with the idea that being with another man even if S/A, got you bullied. All are victims. There are still so many survivors in the dark not saying anything, They need healing. They need to know there are good people who hate what happened to them. They need to know there are good people who want to help.
