First F1 was 1950 at Silverstone, and so Brooklands isn’t a F1 track. Only Donnington, Silverstone and Brands Hatch have held a F1 championship event in the UK. All are still active tracks to this day.
F1 is a type (Formula) of Grand Prix racing. A Grand Prix race take place over a distance of 300 kilometres. Grand Prix racing is much older than the rule set of 1950 which birthed F1. This is why Monaco had held Grand Prix race since the 1920s. Brookland was never a F1 track. But it was a Grand Prix track.
    Macao has a current Grand Prix which is a F3 event, but Macao isn’t a F1 track…
Sadly WTF1 have fallen into the trap of confusing F1 and Grand Prix as the same thing.

Kyalami... the old track was used for F1 up until 1993.
There is now a brand new track, the old track has been upgraded a few times but still no F1 races. 😢

Yeah it’s really shit we don’t have a race in South Africa or even on the African Continent, yet the USA has three and Italy has two events.

Brooklands hosted races until 1939, but the first F1 race took place in 1946?
