Omg this song came out when I was 6 years old... but I'm a recent/newer Phoenix fan ( I started listening to them not even 2 years ago) and let's just say I'm more used to seeing them with their current more cohesive kept together looks: the classical relaxed Thomas,, the stoic Deck, cool funky Branco and quirky sweet Chris. But this,, this feels like I'm seeing a completely different band!! Branco is so handsome nowadays,, but this clean shaven,, long hair,, baggy clothes look is not it. I swear Deck looks like a mannequin in a couple of frames. Thomas seems so "wild" compared to his current conservative image. I'll admit I like Chris's formal look, but it clashes too much with the rest and he's on a very fine line of almost looking like a secret service member Love them anyway ❤

I think I'd prefer Phoenix because they don't follow the mainstream pop standards. And by standards I mean the concept behind an album, the mastering and procedures to make an album sound mainstream and radio pop. It's not something you feel when you listen to Phoenix. They have an underground vibe that mainstream pop hasn't. Also Phoenix have developed a wide arrange of musical landscapes throughout genres like new wave, synthpop, jangle pop, indie pop, dance, funk, soul, r&b and sometimes even rock. So... that's my opinion on the subject
