I know Josie has hired help with her garden, BUT she is one of the few youtubers with a garden that actually gardens. She actually gets into the muck and knows her plants more and more as the years go by. Well done Josie!!
I think all the influencers garden in their own gardens. It’s just that knowledge is gained over the years and some of the women I watch spend a lot of time doing so much else. Time is precious and influencers above all others have to juggle what’s important to themselves.
I know because of Josie’s love for gardening, I too have renewed my joy of gardening. 😊. It makes me so happy and I had forgotten how beautiful it is to get “dirty”.
Much preferred this blog then watching and quickly pass through incredibly expensive clothing that few can realistically afford. Content that more of us can relate to would be wonderful!!!😊 I do not care about private jets 🙄
Wise to lay off botox for awhile, at your age, but I doubt jumping from skin care brand to skin care brand is much better. Let the skin be from time to time is what I do.
I've been embracing the seasons all year and trying not to wish them away or think of other seasons, it's been honestly wonderful and the year has felt longer and more full as a result
We absolutely should treasure every day - and all the seasons have their own special beauty if we take the time to notice. Even a rainy day can be so beautiful and soothing if we are cosy inside and listening to the comforting sounds of the raindrops on the windows. I’m a Buddhist and for me mindfulness and staying in the present has helped me to get so much more joy and peace from the simple moments of day to day life. It’s all there to be enjoyed and treasured with the right mindset and a grateful heart 💗😊x
So glad you’re not closing the book on the last of Summer. Some of the sweetest moments happen now. Everything is still green, the sun still shining. The birds, the ocean, the flowers are all beautiful.
Josie, if you place a piece of plastic film directly on top of the sorbet before freezing, you will keep the ice crystals to a minimum, allowing a smoother texture. Works great when making ice cream as well 😊

I started embracing the start of the seasons when they "officially" start on the equinoxes/solstices 2 years ago, and the last two years have been bliss. No more rushing for the next thing and not wishing away the beauty we currently have. Fall is incredible, but I know when winter comes I will be kicking myself for not appreciating summer, so I don't see a point in wishing it away now. 🌞 Besides, early September always brings some sneaky hot flashes, which are downright terrible when you've already gotten out all of your sweaters. 🍃

I live in South Carolina near the ocean - we have mega muggy days!!! I use brown mascara all the time, as the years pass black mascara begins to look harsh- especially, for those of us with light hair & skin. Your garden is magical.

It was actually interesting to see your cleaning cupboard and I agree natural products don't have the oomph to get rid of limescale and stains. I like to see ordinary life as life is not all glam there is a lot of mundane and background work in every day for everyone unless you have servants.

I loved your talk on positive thinking and I can be that way and it is a boost to hear you have the same thoughts and as you say negativity creeps in and it can be difficult sometimes but I get busy and it gets better. Learning about Botox more and nutrition at the same time I realized that our liver tries to get rid of it as soon as possible. And some cosmetologist say oh don’t do vitamin B complex after procedure, because it helps with liver detox functions. Which is so bizarre to think about. It is still a toxin. Of case some people do it to get a mussel tension relief and against migraines but there always good to look in nutrition for answers as well
Yes you can do things naturally Josie - step away from the chemicals (you’ll be learning about toxins in your nutritionist course hopefully). Check out Nancy Birtwhistle’s books!
The only base I use is The Ordinary prevent lines serum and Nivea Factor 50 sun lotion every day and a bit of Rimmel concealer. I have keratosis on the end of my nose and am waiting for Dermatology to give me an appointment to dry ice it but it takes a year which is quite distressing when you have lesions on the end of your nose. Sun damage has a lot to answer to and I hide the area with make up but it is constantly changing and not easy mentally to deal with.
I have similar plants ie flowers in my little garden but not on the scale of yours and your Michaelmas daisies are beautiful. Mine are new and I hope will establish more next year. I have a lot of terracotta pots and have tried hard to look after my plants keeping them watered and fed.
You can use any flavor of alcohol including wine or champagne. The alcohol simply doesn't freeze. Lemon cello probably would be delicious by the way I live in the USA southwest and I am always amazed how GREEN it is in England.

White vinegar works the best on shower glass - no need for nasty chemicals too!
I second that - white vinegar with a bit of soda crystals and water. Works so well on glass and tiles.

For the lime build-up in your shower, use white vinegar after every shower. No more build-up.
I actually use a squeegee every time after my shower. I have no buildup on the glass. 🥰🇨🇦

I'm pale skinned with silver hair - I like Charlotte Tilbury mascara, there's a burgundy brownish one that looks less harsh than black

I tend to use bonemeal for all my plants to help them flower and give strength and that is that. A sprinkle now and then before rain.
