Sorry I didn't get my footage of your launch to you in time! You should bug me, I just forgot. There will be better days for Anapra this winter Nice control on the top landings!
@@MitchG it'll be awhile before I post my video of an apra. It was a super crappy flight for me, with funky Landing when I with my wing getting caught in Mesquite. I'm trying to get caught up on backlogged footage going all the way back to July!
C class wings nowadays handle really simply and are confidence inpiring, and thats the good and the bad part. Their easeness will bite you hard if your skills are not on par with their behaviour in bad air - you upgrade when you are able to manage how they behave after collapses, not when you feel you master their handling on takoff/normal flight.
Correct me if I am wrong, you're about 3.8KG/M² on the Delta 3? I have to move into 29 or 30M size to get to a similar loading. I still don't have "the hots" to shell out for a pure PG kit. That would likely have to include a pod harness too, but I might move to again acquiring a lower loaded pure PG wing soon. Considering a 30m Mac Para Eden 7.
Eden is a good wing. I havent done the math for loading but I try to be within 3kg of the top of the weight range so I have penetration for ridge soaring. I'm 84kg out of 85kg max on this wing. I like minimal harness for simplicity. Makes takeoff and landing easier and I typically dont pg long or high enough to benefit from a pod harness. The extra weight and bulk isn't worth the minimal increase in glide
Hey Mitch. I have a fellow aviation enthusiasts 15U that just moved to bliss from Humphreys Korea. Can I get him in contact with you and you get him in contact with a local paragliding instructor?
At 11:42 i believe the wind agrees with you. Says something about the bush "right there" trippy!
I feel like I saw you flying in El Paso like three weeks ago around the church. If so, I want to go watch and learn.

No worries. I look forward to watching your videos! Fingers crossed for some west winds. I want to fly mitchs ridge

I want a drz so bad I need to sell my current bike...the smoke has out visibility under 2 miles I’m grounded...thanks for the flying fix for the day!

Only one way to find out! If it's to much I can always go back to a B but for now I'm loving this C

Thats the same spot where I go ride at and we climb the hill on the path right next to the fence.
Dude get a glider and fly down
What is the max wind speed you can launch in the delta?
It really depends on the launch and slope area but somewhere around 13-18mph. I usually wait for a low cycle to inflate the wing
What is the lure to do that instead of PPG?
The challenge of staying up, flying silently like a bird, flying with friends and being able to yell to each other in the air
@@MitchG Ahhh. . . sounds great. I wish i could do it.

Yeah. Tell him to join the el paso ppg group on FB and add me. I'll help him out
Mitch G thanks man. We did about 2 days of kiting practice so he's a noob but ready for an instructor. Take it easy
Yo that wing is sexy!
