You've blown my mind. As a career electrician for 35 years, and a lifelong lover of woodworking, I'm a craftsman. Im anal and appreciate the small techniques of any trade. You...absolutely...rock at those detailed skills. Thank you, sir
Thank you! I believe what honed me to practice like this was being a production manager for nearly 20 years (large commercial cabinet shop). To create efficiency, everyone and everything counted. Details. I implemented systems, protocols, jigs, fixtures, etc. It all adds up! Thanks for the good words. 👊🏼
I don't know how I missed this when you posted it, I feel like I owe you an apology. You have some fantastic techniques with those clamps man, I love using gravity any wherever I can, and thanks to your good self I now love using magnets. Best wishes from Scotland
Nah…no apologies needed ever. I’m kinda surprised I don’t see more clamp racks for F Style like this more…they work so well. And yeah…magnets! The uses never end. Cheers and Merry Christmas to you and yours ! .
Another superb video, Ramon. As usual, it's packed with lots of great tips and tricks. I love your clamp racks and if I ever need to change mine, I'll definitely use your design. I need to make some of those magnetic clamping pads as well. I've got some older style Bessey clamps with wooden handles that are quite slippery. I used Rob Cosman's suggestion to wrap the handles with hockey tape (which is probably not easy to get in NM 🙂) and it helps a lot with grip. Thanks Ramon!!
Thanks David. The magnetic pads are great! My older Bessey clamps do have slippery, painted handles but they haven’t been an issue. I actually have some hockey tape that you sent me!
Countertop? Oh, you mean the solid surface that I mention. That material comes in sheet form...usually 30" x 144". Search your area for solid surface fabricators. Back when it first came out it was known as Corian (brand name). But now there are dozens, if not more. Hi-Macs, Gibralter, Avenite, Meganite and many more. Some consider it as a "step up from plastic laminate" and cheaper than granite or quartz. But I love the fact that when fabricated correctly, the seams are invisible, smooth seamless backsplashes can be formed and the sinks can be undermounted and created with a seamless transition. I love the stuff! It use to require certification to be able to purchase. I was certified in 5 brands, but I'm not sure if that's still required. Hope that helps

Holy cow! The spring twist tip is GOLD! Not sure I ever would have thought of that. Thanks, Ramon!
I probably would not have ever noticed with most glues, but solid surface glue is slippery! Thanks for watching!
Dude - your modifications just ooze know-how and perfection! Lean methodology in practice!
Alright! Good to hear...thanks for watching!
Good tips. Never really thought of the 9:40 tip. Makes sense.
It does make a difference! Thanks for watching

Oh hey! You have so many names ! 😬 Thanks man…I appreciate that
@@ramonartful I almost have as many names as you have clamp racks! well not even close.
Awesome little jig suggestions!
Great! Thanks for the feedback!
Very good information, thanks Ramon!!
Glad it was helpful! Much thanks
Very clever... thanks!
Good to hear...thanks for watching !
The leather magnet pads are genius
I love those things! Use them just about every time I clamp anything! thanks
Beyond genius! No more glueing bits of wood only to have them fail in the middle of a glue up!!
Yep, that's exactly what use to happen to me! Thanks for watching @@lanceyohe6026
Your videos are excellent! I'm building a vanity right now and was wondering were I can find the countertop you showed?
