I hope this video not only shares a bit of my story but also raises awareness about road safety and reminds you to live your life to the full, appreciate the small things and tell the people around you that you love them! Life can be over in an instant so LIVE IT
I also accidentally edited out a bit where I thanked my mum...she doesn't get enough credit but she has made me into the strong woman I am today! So annoyed I forgot to include that part! X
Jordan Bone your amazing Jordan your a true inspiration you have been through so much!! & I think your makeups brilliant I love doing mine and couldn't imagine not being able to or having to retrain yourself to do it I have b12 anemia and it took about 5 years to get diagnosed so I know in a way how it is to be not well and to not be able to do certain things energy wise I got quite bad and had to he in hospital for a day and was jaundice as my liver was deteriorating every day is hard as there is alot to deal with but I have the same positive attitude as you if you don't try you never will and you just have to try and carry on keep being you!!💓xxx
I'm paralyzed also from a car accident. I'm a t3 para, watching your videos just make me so proud to see a strong woman overcome this injury and live life!!!! I'm having a horrible time with spasms lately and watching your videos just reminds me that things can and will get better. I needed to just watch your videos today! I've been paralyzed 11 years and it's just amazing bring able to relate to someone so much!
I wish everyone had a tour of the hospital you and my brother were in. My brother was in the hospital a year. He had the same injury as you also a car accident. Everyone on his floor was mostly car or motorcycle accidents.People think cars are toys, they get reckless. They need to see in person what can happen. Being a head on a pillow unable to scatch ones own nose. You are an inspiration as was my brother till I lost him 2 years ago.People please pay attention while driving, only takes a second to change your entire life or someone else's xoCathy.
so true. the worst is when reckless drivers do this to innocent ppl :/ absolute nightmare. but of course also to think about oneself, one's own son or brother (it is more often men than women, by far, that drive recklessly). the idea is actually great! to show especially young boys what could happen.
I was in a car crash 10/5/15, my mind went straight to you. I thought about you all the time when i was in the hospital too. I don't want to be cheesy, but you gave me strength in those days. You are a massive part of why i made it through with my sanity in tact. I landed in the back seat and i could see my badly broken legs on the roof of the car. I ended up with 15 broken bones, 4 of which were spinal. I have a difficult time walking now, but I'm alive. I'm greatful. Thank you so much for being with me in spirit that day and thank you for having the courage to speak out and being an advocate for toad safety and spinal injuries. You are such a bright beacon of hope.
Idk who first said it, but I love the saying: "you don't know how strong you are, until strong is all you have to be." Thank you for sharing. You are amazing! 😊
I've watched several videos of yours. You're such an inspiration it's incredible. Thank u for sharing such a difficult part of your life with us all. You probably don't even realize how many people you'll reach and touch and inspire with your story, your perseverance and you major successes in life. It makes me so thankful for so much that I usually take for granted. Your story is so powerful. Thank you!!
My first love and now at 64, he is still the only man I loved, was diving in a lake and broke his neck. He was paralized from his neck down. We were so young when it happen. He was very eary 20's. He didn't want to live after, so he died a year latter. It was so terrible sad for me. He was the most amazing man, so full of life. I know that a group of friends helped him pass. We never talk about it. Your so beautiful and brave. Thank you for sharing.
Ive been a critical care nurse and am now a district nurse. Have spent a lot of time with people who have gone through such trauma. I think you are such an incredible girl and so beautiful and inspiring to others. Unfortunately not everyone can cope the same but you give others hope that im sure. Thanks for sharing!😘😘😘
Thank you, Emma. I am very proud when I look back. I cannot believe I coped with something so awful at such a difficult time - being a teenager isn't easy at the best of times xx
You're a darling girl and hearing you tell your story is heartbreaking but inspiring. Thank you for sharing with all of us! Love and hugs to you and your mom.
I can see how hard this was for you to talk about. Going through that at fifteen must have been beyond difficult. I've watched you for ages but quite what you went through has never properly sunk in until now. You're so inspirational and positive xx
I have watched lots of your videos and you are such an inspiration Jordan. Watching this video made me cry because you were in such a terrible accident. I'm so glad you never let any of this effect you and you are such a beautiful strong young woman! Lots of love and keep your head high❤️
You are a total babe! You honestly have the biggest heart! For a 15 year old to give up your food stabby thing for someone else is the most beautiful think I've ever heard. You are my role model that's for sure! Xx I love you so much! Honestly the best xx
I didn't have a car accident but I had a ruptured splenic artery aneurysm when I was 8 months pregnant. I understand what you are saying about sharing the your trauma. It is like a dream or it happened to someone else. I also had my white light experience. I wasn't floating over my body but there was definitely a light. The part I related to the most is when you said, "I don't want to die!" I remember saying that out loud almost like a chant though I believe in reality I was thinking it more than saying it as I was too weak to speak. I went into a full code and was brought back several times. I didn't stroke but I endured a lot of surgeries and hospitalizations. But you beautiful lady were a 15 year old girl. You persevered. My admiration for you is limitless. You are brave and courageous. It would be amazing if you could speak to teens about the dangers of driving. You have a gift and we are all lucky that you share your life good and bad with us. All of my best.
I am struggling with the most severe form of spinal arthritis and fibromyalgia. I have to be in hospital every 12 weeks for a special infusion that helps control the pain. Knowing I will never be the same or get better I have become depressed and stopped looking for the small dances with happiness. You have made me rethink how act and how I want to live my life. Thank you for inspiring me
That's exactly the point. People say we are "brave" and "strong" and whatever, but it's not like there is a choice. Unless you plan on rolling off a cliff, life simply continues. I realize people mean well and want to say something nice, so it's fine. But life goes on and just getting up in the morning doesn't automatically make one "brave". 😂 Congrats on the book, Jordan.
I understand your point, but I disagree. It does take courage to start to build your life again, look for and find a purpose that's meaningful to yourself and basically build your identity on new terms and face other people being that person in a wheelchair etc. And as horrible as it is, the fact is there is a choice: a choice not to live, sadly even an active suicide / euthanasia. I would _never_ commit suicide no matter how bad my injuries were nor would I ever condone it, but I know a person who chose to end his life after being injured severly. To choose life in extreme trauma is a choice that I congratulate for.
Thank you for this. I was in a horrible car accident when I was younger and I never really talked to anyone who understood the trauma someone goes through during and after recovery. It is nice for someone to be spreading awareness of car safety and to not dwell on what ifs though I've done it many times. Wishing you the best.
You are such an inspiration, not only because of how you've coped with the physical injury, but your positive and kind personality always shines through! You'll be inspiring and guiding more people than you realise - you're an amazing person! xxx
You are inspirational. You've conquered so much and been through a journey of adjustment and have made the most of your life. I've followed you for years and you still amaze me with each upload and social media post. So admirable Jordan x
You are GORGEOUS!, I had a similar car accident that you had, I spend the last 2 years in bed almost as a prisoner of my own body. But to see your smile was the only thing that would bring me confort and your advice gave me so much peace and hope. God Bless you Jordan, you mean so much to the rest of this world. We need more people like you , Angelo C.
I've had 7 (?) surgeries and soon i'll be having my 8th...... people ask me ALL the time "How have you not given up?" and my answer is "Because I have no other choice but to keep going." You simply do what you have to do and make the most of the better times (and cry your eyes out on occasion too in private).
Jordan this video touched me. You are a strong woman one of the strongest and you are very inspiring! Cant wait to collab someday! I need to buy your book too!! LOVE YOU! :)
Love all your content, tutorials reviews etc. I think videos like these of yours are so important to reach out to people and educate. Be it to show people you can I come back from life threatening injury, or help people feel less alone. I have used a wheelchair part time since birth, and at 22 I'm constantly looking around for people living in similar circumstances to me, people that understand. As the largest minority in the world, people with disabilities are least represented in modern media. Thank you for all that you do, regardless of inspiration it is so encouraging to see you represent yourself as more than your injury. You're beautiful and strong and successful in something you're passionate about, the fact that you are defying the odds is the cherry on top.
I completely agree and I will try to continue to create content which educates and inspires with my story. I used to feel so alone and that it seemed there was no one like me out in the 'media' world so I am trying to change that by just being me xx
Jordan Bone you're doing so in everything you do, every Snapchat, eyeliner wing or blogopost shows others what you are capable of and what they could do too. By the way I know you aren't keen on it - I LOVE your hair. Really suits you short think it's chic
I am so sorry for your struggles. I have been in the hospital since july my husband and i were in a horrible wreck and he passed away. I am in a rehab facility now, but my life like yours is changed forever.
I think the key thing that comes across from this video (and many of your others) is that it is important to try to 'move on' from bad things that happen to us. What is remarkable in your case is that the consequences of the bad thing (car crash) are with you every day and you still manage to get as much out of life as you can. Truly inspirational.
"I dealt with that so I can deal with anything" - You are amazing Jordan! You are such a strong person and really are so inspiring. And I love the new hair! You are the definition of beautiful inside and out
Jordan I've just discovered your videos. Today I felt really crap after work after a bad day but do you know what girl, this has given me perspective. You are so strong and a true inspiration and I'm going to buy your book tomorrow. I'm your age, born in 1989 and I am truly humbled and just watching your videos has reminded me not to take anything for granted! xxx
Wow what a scary thing to go through. I am so glad you fought through falling in and out of consciousness to be here on earth to write and tell your story. That was a beautiful thing to do to give the man your food strap. In that moment you realized a strength you had not had. Now look at you using that strength today to show us how to properly apply makeup. I have use of my hands and can not do makeup to save my life no matter how many videos I watch. Thank you again for sharing and I am new to your channel and plan on sticking around. I'm glad I got to know your story first thing. Looks like I have some watching of your channel to do to catch up! 💕💜
As difficult as this video is to do, you should be incredibly proud of how far you've come! You have incredible strength and determination which can only be admired! Ps love your top!!
I was feeling low - and your video encouraged me. I appreciate you so much. Thank you for sharing what you've learned about overcoming obstacles with us. I feel privileged to know your story and hear what you've been through. God bless you, Jordan.
You are such a remarkable human being. So grateful for your inspiring message from such a traumatic experience. I really admire your strength and the way you've allowed your struggle to shape you with such resilience and hope is truly astonishing. Thank you for sharing your story ❤️
I cried all the way through this 😭 being a mother to a 15 year old my heart just goes out to you and your family. You're so beautiful inside and out and such an inspiration 😘😘😘 I wish you all the luck in the world on your journey, you're so brave and your parents must be so proud of you. 😘😘
Yes, I’m a mother of older children too. Her mother must have been in agony hearing the news and then seeing her baby in the hospital after the accident!!
You're such a beautiful person inside and out and a huge inspiration.! I had an accident last year smashing my kneecap whilst abroad and I was so scared I would never be "normal" again. 11 months and two surgeries in I have probably made a 90% recovery but I struggle with anger and resentment that this happened to me but it's like getting a splinter compared to what you have been through!! I remind myself all the time it could have been a very different story if I fell and hit my head rather than me knee and I'm so grateful for that. Keep strong x
I can’t stop crying. You are the strongest person I’ve ever seen. You are a special gift from God. God bless you. You inspired me to be strong in life. Thank you!!!!
You're so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your story. I was recently in a car accident that totaled my car and left me feeling a little lost and more than a little anxious. In some ways I wish I was naive to how bad it was and could have been but I know too well. It wasn't until I saw my car a few days later that I really realized how bad and how luck I am to have literally walked away with the minor injuries I have. It happens so fast and you only have so much time to take control. So happy you're here. So glad you're around to share your story. Hugs to you and so much love.
my brother is also a Quad, we race motocross and he took a tumble when he was 16. really interesting to learn other peoples stories! (he's now 23). awesome that your sharing!
What an incredible story you have! God has big plans for you! Your so inspiring, beautiful, and very talented! Love following you & learning makeup tips and tricks from you. Oh I have got to get my hands on your book. Keep being you 😘
Hi Jordan, what an inspiration you are. I am a nurse and I worked on Osborne 3 at the Sheffield unit so I truly understand how hard it is. Sending all my love xx
Your words are much needed and soothing to an ear that is struggling through something that I am forced to deal with in my life that will "never" change. I've just changed my outlook that is all we can really do❤️ you're so gorgeous !! Really enjoyed this video ...sending hugs your way xoxo
Ive read your book and not being English it took me a week! I was crying all the time through reading this but not out of pity because I hate pity having cerebral palsy myself but I was thinking how people take their lives for granted sometimes ! You're so strong and I'm so proud of you! ❤️ credit to your mum she is a strong woman! And you look so lovely with your new hair, suits you well
I just found your channel a few days ago but already I've been so inspired, humbled, and amazed by your outlook on life and the message you being to the world. I didn't realize you had a book, but I'm headed to buy it right now.
I found you from your tattoo video but this is the second video of yours that's I'm watching. You are a beautiful person inside and out. I can't imagine going through that, especially so young. And you've come along way, you didn't let it eat you alive and stop you from achieving what you want. Please keep pushing through and living life. You're such a inspiration, thank you 💜
Thank you for sharing your story. My partner had a life altering work accident last year so I can empathize with some of what you are going through. You are such a beautiful person and your story gives me hope for the future.
Thank you Jordan for this video and your strong perseverance. I also am paralyzed, C6 C7. I admire how much you do on the Internet and how you can do your own makeup. By the way you are extremely beautiful! I wish you the best of luck and may God bless you!
you are an inspiration! they way you have handled your injury is just amazing and you should be so proud of yourself! when i was seven i was hit by a car after school crossing the road after getting off my bus, i was extremely lucky to only come out of it with a broken arm and superficial wounds to my face and body, i think something thay day was looking over me, but i am so grateful everyday i survived without much consequence! keep making videos, i loved hearing about your story xoxo
You're so brave for sharing your story and it's admirable how you've turned your injury from a negative to a positive and not let it get the better of you as I would have probably done in the same situation. I live in your local area and I still hear day after day about car accidents around here because of reckless driving 😔 people need to wise up! All the best to you x
I have always appreciated your outlook on life, and I can't wait to get your book 📚!! I absolutely love this look you have on in the video Jordan, you are just glowing! I love your new shorter hair! Thank you for opening up your heart to us. God bless you Jordan!
Jordan, thank you for making this video as hard as it was and talking about a part of your life that was so painful. You, my dear, are the picture of courage! It is amazing what we can do when we have to.Often, we don't appreciate what we have until it is taken away. Your story is a great reminder for living in the moment and appreciating what we have.xoYou are very beautiful and I LOVE your makeup
Jordan what a positive inspiration you are and a very honest account of a terrible part of your life your bravery and strength shines through luv ya lots ❤❤
I never believe someone when they suggest sharing pain. But when I do, it does actually help. You still have much to live for. You're headed in the right direction.
I spoke about my injury in a school assembly because a lot of people wanted to know and I just felt that they deserved to know, I found it was actually more "normal" when they did know and it does feel weird. When I speak about my injury it feels like talking about another time and about another person which is weird because its still me. It was also a bit weird talking about it in front of my whole year at school (year 10) I swear the hall had never been quieter. I thought everyone would be messing around and not really interested but it was so quiet you would've heard a pin drop!!
That was exactly the same whenever I shared my story at schools...which is amazing! I know exactly how you feel because when I talk about it it literally feels like I am just telling a story!
I think the way you have filmed this video, without planning, is the best way.. because like you said, you say what comes out of your heart and I think it makes it more emotional.
Jordan, honestly you're so strong to post a video about this topic, honestly you're so incredibly, Love you so much and thank you for being such an inspiration, You make me realise there is always a light at the end of the tunnel xxxx
It's so sad what happened to you, sadly it seems it happened for a reason you really have no idea how much you inspire people, I really love your positive outlook on life ❤️
I've just recently discovered you and your channel! And I have to say, I am already in love! You are such an inspiration and it is so amazing to see that you have been able to do so much! Thank you for sharing your story, you seem like such a genuine and sweet person!
You still have a HALO.....which shines brightly. YOU will touch many people in our world. You have reached me in North Carolina across the Alantic Ocean. May you accomplish all your goals and live a long and happy life.
I needed this video and your beautiful self so much today. thank you so very much for sharing such a painful time of your life with us. the strength you exhibit is truly mindboggling. much love to you!
I have only watched a few of your video's. And you are a remarkable young woman. For the things that life threw at you as a 15 year old child. I can look into your eyes are see a wonderful kindness about you. With all that you have had to deal with at such a young age, as well as having your hole world turned upside down. And having to learn everything all over again! In a way that would be Unimaginable to a grown up. And you were having to do it at a very rough age, just trying to be a teenager! For one thing you must have an amazing Mother. She distealed amazing morals and values into you at a very young age. From just the few videos that I have seen of you and a little bit of what I have herd. I just happened to come across your channel, and my first impression wasn't sadness. It was this Beautiful young woman who has this amazing story that might have not been told. If she wasn't so positive and so lovely inside and out. And how proud her Mother must be! I definitely want to buy your book. As well as follow your journey. You are around my two Daughters ages. One is 30 and the other is 31. You are amazing and gorgeous! Keep up the good work honey. I think your doing and will keep doing amazing things!
Heyyyy girl.. You are stunning, and inspirational don't think I could be as strong as you, but all what you've been through adds to your character and your story...makes you even more beautiful!! Your a diamond xxxxxx
I'm really finding some inner strength every time I watch one of your videos, I really enjoy them so please keep them coming 😁 struggling with finding the right direction and right people in life right now, I really admire what you've done/doing, obviously goes without saying how gorgeous you are. I love your style and wish my makeup could look like yours, love it!! Xxx
Hi. You look beautiful in the video. That video was informative & emotional, well done. I'm glad you got the use of your arms back. You still have plenty of ways to enjoy life. Your raising awareness of your situation is a good way to spend your time. These type of videos help people with their own stuggles & remind them to not take anything for granted.

Once again you are beautiful and amazing and I love watching your videos and I can't wait to read your story in full! Keep up the good work and keep smiling! xx

Elephant in the room question-Do people who are in this condition ever think about or consider self deletion?

Knowing I will never be the same or get better I have become depressed and stopped looking for the small dances with happiness. You have made me rethink how act and how I want to live my life. Thank you for inspiring me
That's exactly the point. People say we are "brave" and "strong" and whatever, but it's not like there is a choice. Unless you plan on rolling off a cliff, life simply continues. I realize people mean well and want to say something nice, so it's fine. But life goes on and just getting up in the morning doesn't automatically make one "brave". 😂 Congrats on the book, Jordan.
Evil Pagan Thank goodness someone said it! She had no choice. It's life or death. Also, most of the comments are about her appearance 🙄😒
waterproof cucumber Well, this is mostly a beauty and makeup channel, so makes sense, I guess. Not what I'm here for, though.
What would you say to the driver if you could meet him today?
Unicorn I was just wondering this
I bet the driver is sick about what happened. I hope so anyway.
We need more people like you ,
Angelo C.
I've had 7 (?) surgeries and soon i'll be having my 8th...... people ask me ALL the time "How have you not given up?" and my answer is "Because I have no other choice but to keep going." You simply do what you have to do and make the most of the better times (and cry your eyes out on occasion too in private).
Jordan, you are so incredibly brave to share your story and pass on your strength to others. You are an inspiration to me!
Jordan this video touched me. You are a strong woman one of the strongest and you are very inspiring! Cant wait to collab someday! I need to buy your book too!! LOVE YOU! :)
Jessica Arevalo love you even more cz of this comment😘
Thank you gorgeous! Lots of love to you and yes we need to collab!!!
Thank you...it's 'growing' on me haha! X
I'm your age, born in 1989 and I am truly humbled and just watching your videos has reminded me not to take anything for granted! xxx
You need to do a Ted Talk.
You should check Tony Robbins videos out on RUclips.
That is such a lovely thing to say. I appreciate your kind words so much!
I agree completely!❣
Yes, I’m a mother of older children too. Her mother must have been in agony hearing the news and then seeing her baby in the hospital after the accident!!
You are a true Survivor and an Inspiration to other's to NOT give up during the darkest times in a persons life. 👏❤️👏
That's so kind and the message I wish to share with you all! Thank you x
You're so positive and inspirational. Should be incredibly proud of how far you have come x
Thank you x
Keep being you 😘
I totally agree that when people ask how you were so strong through everything, and the answer truly is the you have no other choice!
Following you for quite a while and now watched this video. I can't say more than I have so much admiring and respect for you!
Hi Jordan, what an inspiration you are. I am a nurse and I worked on Osborne 3 at the Sheffield unit so I truly understand how hard it is. Sending all my love xx
You are honestly one of the strongest people ever. You have become the amazing person you are now and you are positive and happy.💗
I love you, you are just so sweet and such a good example. Your positive attitude just makes me feel so happy and positive
Your words are much needed and soothing to an ear that is struggling through something that I am forced to deal with in my life that will "never" change. I've just changed my outlook that is all we can really do❤️ you're so gorgeous !! Really enjoyed this video ...sending hugs your way xoxo
You're so stunning and inspiring. It's amazing to see the strength you have in overcoming your challenges xx
You are glowing with beauty and positivity! So beautiful!
Such an incredible inspiration x
That's kind, thank you x
you are so beautiful and one of the strongest people I have ever come across. You hear this so many times, but you are a true inspiration ❤❤❤
Jordan, you are remarkable. Because I've read your book, I kind knew what was coming but having you say it out loud, made it more real. xx
You are such a strong woman and you have no idea how much of an inspiration you are to me right now. 💕
U are just so sweet and kind. It humbles me listening to your story. Thank u for sharing so openly. Can't wait to get your book! xxx
You are so strong. I am inspired by your strength and perseverance. Also love your hair here!
Thank you! I like to be authentic with you guys so don't like it to be 'scripted'. Thank you for watching xx
Really looking forward to reading your book. Your grace and positive outlook on how you handled your accident and injury are quite inspiring.❤️
Jordan, honestly you're so strong to post a video about this topic, honestly you're so incredibly,
Love you so much and thank you for being such an inspiration,
You make me realise there is always a light at the end of the tunnel xxxx
You're so beautiful Jordan, and such an inspiration! ❤️
Thank you Grace xx
