iv done a complete brake swap and removed the endless front brake pads and discs to replace with ebc discs and rp-x race pads. iv swapped the rear godspeed pads and standard disc for a ebc disc and bluestuff pad.

Thanks for another great vodeo Steve. Theres not many people out there that modify a FWD Car, keep it up please!
Your right Steve, once in correctly the spring keeps tension on the inside of the caliper housing , they cannot bend in their own, seen this so many times when customers bring a different car with a problem on the rear brakes , we all learn stuff every day , if you look in the centre of the caliper when pads are in you can see how the spring is sitting , normally if incorrect you will see one of the spring wings sticking through the centre , thus not keeping even pressure on the pad at all times , hope this helps and your doing a great job 👍
watched to the end. you are interesting to us mate so keep them videos coming.
Watched till the end keep up the content!
Very interesting video, will be interesting to see how they compare to the others.
Another brilliant video! Been watching your videos a while and you are very intelligent when it comes to cars 👍🏽👍🏽
Hi Steve, great video as always. The correct term for your front disc type is "Plain" discs, you'll confuse people by referring to them as SOLID disc's,as we can all see they are vented.Keep up the good work, look forward to the trackday review off the new brake set up.
Love the boring schpeel Steve!
Good video Steve and watched all of it 👍
Good video thanks Steve all the best.
Steve all your videos are intresting.I watch till the end love the content on the Ford
Always watch to the end love the content
Good video fella
Really interested to see how the RPX work out. I ditched DS2500 as I found wear rate was poor, I'm using PBS Prorace and much happier with them.
I think I'll have to ditch the EBC grooved discs, it hadn't occurred to me that they may be the cause of increased wear.
Love your videos on the Fiesta and
I don’t even drive a Ford 👍🏻👍🏻
Go on Steve boy 👌👍
Great stuff about to change ours to EBC but road use only, looking foward to the bed in video as said lol 😳🤭🤣😂😝👍
the EBC ultimax is the best street pad i've ever used. came from yellow stuff.
See it all over Facebook about discs and pads ....I run ebc green stuff with godspeed c hook and motul 660 racing fluid and there great for back road blasting ..so I think some people have a hard right foot then hard brake foot 🤔
Those rear pads look like they have grabbed and semi slipped during use to bend the springs possibly?
I've seen the springs do that on on pads before it's no idea why I guess it's due to movement
Are we going to have a bedding in video 🙈🙈
Thanks for sharing 👍
There won't be any fires this time 😉
@@Sparkplugsteve good news lol 🙈
0:55 im sure you meant unbiased opinion haha
That's what I said. 😅 I checked it while editing but at first I thought I said biased
HI did you remove the black coating from the front discs ? only i fitted some EBC discs and pads to my focus early this year with out reading the instructions and then read them only to find out that you have too remove the black coating
Na il let the brake pad do that. I interpreted it to mean you remove the oil coating not the paint but could be wrong.
@@Sparkplugsteve i thought the same i removed it with some solvent and underneath is that silver coating that some discs come with do check as you don't want to damage you pads
Yeh your right I just checked again. Nightmare.
@@Sparkplugsteve i don't think it is very clear in the instructions . we don't want another fire .
@@Sparkplugsteve Don't. ". EBC Grooved rotors are coated
with gold or black zinc finish which will wear off during the first 100 miles of braking. Do not attempt to remove this coating on installation."
The film they are mentioning has to be the oil coating if there is any that a quick wipe with brake cleaner removes. "The corrosion protective film
on non-grooved EBC rotors must be removed carefully from new rotors with a suitable contact cleaner (meths or white spirit) to avoid contaminating pads."
Need you head testing putting EBC on anything let alone removing the Endless to do so. Hit the nail on the head though, cheapest!! by EBC by twice. Actually dont do that. dont by EBC full stop
Ever since I’ve had EBC delaminate I’ve avoided the brand.
Keep em coming Steve i always like your content even though i can't stand Ford lol.
see that in the garage about once a year , used to see it often say 5 or 7 years ago , i seem to remember it happened a lot on audi's and vw 's. Its down to not noticing the spring flop down as you mount the caliper , then a bit of a shove ,it bends and usually left half sticking out of the caliper hole . To see it bent like that ... its got to be a very flimsy spring ,surely you would have felt that in the way when fitting the caliper .if that can happen Its a shit design . It was interesting btw.
Yeh iv done it myself in the past when it pops up through the hole. I'm sure I fitted them correct but the evidence says otherwise lol.
My guess behind the endless pads being smaller is so they have a more focused contact patch on the disc. Just a guess
Sounds weird, the more contact area = the more braking force
Hiiiiii
Pbs pads are supposed to be good maybe look into them if your looking for another option but there not cheap either
Just not good enough unfortunately. I know of others who have tried them in the fiesta and they fade pretty quickly.
EBC offered me the RP-X for my car then said they cant do them so ill stick with endless. Shame as like you it comes down to cost.
Do you mean they don't make for your car or backed out of you testing them?
@@Sparkplugsteve They said they would send me some to test, then said actually they dont do any for my car so cant and left it at that. Shame really but for now ill stick to OEM discs and endless pads, never had any problems (granted less power than you as im around 150bhp) but work great.
What car is it?

Small Help 🤣
I just came back to this comment as I'm checking the thickness again after using them. Top man saved me watching the video lol
brake fad is not due to the pads its due to boiling of the brake fluids
Boiling the fluid gives you a soft pedal and no brakes. Overheating the pads gives you a hard pedal but no brakes.
