This really helped me understand why the weak side help wouldn't help on those drives! This also helped with understanding rotation blunders that happens 😂
seriously im really starting to dig this show i just love how they breakdown the game name of the plays and everything pretty cool i've learned so much about the game of basketball watching these two professionals talk very high basketball IQ's
I know they don't respond to comments, but I would like to see they talking about how you guard a shooter who is on a slump. Do you take advantage and help a little more off him or stay close like he's gonna make the shot regardless? not leaving room for him to get out of the slump

The depth of the Dallas bench to be able to offer different types of defense and offense will be key on the series, they can try to burn out the starters of boston as they dont have that much rotation as Dallas. And the bench points will make the difference if dallas can get more points on the times there is a rotation, and I think luka would need to be smart and look to target someone for foul trouble, dont know if JT or JB depends on who is his main defender.
I like JJ ‘s way asking question. Person who get interviewed will appreciate his questions. Because if you’re Lebron, those championship detail question related to him mentally.
So awesome to see Lebron talk about Kyrie. They played together in the similar manner so to have him know what its like to be Luka at the moment. This Finals is gonna be great!
What are the odds this script comes to fruition: JJ Reddick gets hired by the Laker’s. JJ works with Pelinka in off season to acquire players that can stretch the floor and defend. JJ injects his own variation of “Mazulla Ball” into their offense. Still centered around Lebron/AD, they battle through the west on a collision course towards Boston trying to repeat. Historic chess match between two greatest franchises. NBA ratings go through the roof. Wishful thinking ik, but still in the range of outcomes 😂
I don't know if people feel the same way I do...but I feel scammed by this podcast. I never listen to podcasts on a regular basis but I did this one as it was legendary. To actually think the funny joke that these episodes being JJ's interview for the coaching job was actually TRUE makes me feel like the intention of this podcast was fake. I was hoping to continue to see JJ talk to other coaches and legendary players about the X's and O's of basketball, and for this to be a way for us to learn through one of the greatest minds of the game...but now I feel dirty. Screw JJ and screw Lebron for this shady ass show.
Stephan A. And about 95% of the nba media have dumbed down this sport to the point of damn near ruining the sport to the average/casual fan… but fans like me who played and coached the sport, there is so much to this sport that like these two guys say, you can talk about it all day long!!! It’s literally a chess match from matchups, to lineups, to when to switch or not to switch or to double team or to play zone… to press, or not press… its so beautiful to hear real basketball talk and you can truly learn about the game!!! Not just assumptions or opinions!!
15:16 this is the wrong clip. LeBron is talking about game 1 of the 2018 Finals where he gets called for a foul on KD late in the 4th. The clip showed in this video is a random foul from game 1 of the 2017 finals
The haters were missing in the first few pod episodes, they have joined as of recently 😂 or they just been wait for a moment so they can create a narrative n spread, true lurkers.
the series bron was talking about was actually the 2018 finals. the charge that was changed to a block was in the final minute of game 1. that was also the jr smith game
I like how the podcast breaks it down so many of the other shows are just opinions and a lot of times you know the host doesn’t really know exactly the ins and outs of the game. This is a great way of educating people and whether JJ gets coaching the Lakers is going to get a coaching job with some team and he’s gonna do great.

Now we officially know this was a Coach's Interview the whole time, Well Played JJ/LeBron 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😂😂😂💯💯💯
Thank you for a sensible discussion on the finals, such a great insight, and no one was shouting 😂
it's a miracle. no rant! 😂
This really helped me understand why the weak side help wouldn't help on those drives! This also helped with understanding rotation blunders that happens 😂
Best interview process ever lol
I'd love to see MJ Bron and JJ talk basketball on one of these episodes
could not wait for another ep. thank you guys!
It’s crazy that this is the last episode ever for this podcast 😔
Another great conversation. A great pairing in discussing the game.
These two are possibly the best basketball podcast to date the knowledge is amazing
This 9 Episode Podcast was the Lakers interview 😂
seriously im really starting to dig this show i just love how they breakdown the game name of the plays and everything pretty cool i've learned so much about the game of basketball watching these two professionals talk very high basketball IQ's
I know they don't respond to comments, but I would like to see they talking about how you guard a shooter who is on a slump. Do you take advantage and help a little more off him or stay close like he's gonna make the shot regardless? not leaving room for him to get out of the slump
this is best basketball content ever. pure basketball learning from the best
I love seeing my JoeMazz getting his flowers🥹🥹🥹
49:39 That JJ's smile everytime LeBron directly point a question at him everytime lmao.. i love this duo!
Great timing!
Best hoop pod out there!
Best nothing. You must have feelings for one of them
reports came out yesterday that Lakers are “zeroing in” on JJ for the Head Coaching position. seems like the job is just about his, & if so, I’ve enjoyed this podcast as we know it while it lasted

Appreciate the upload 🔥🙏🏼
RIP to the podcast, had a great time watching and listening. Thanks JJ Redick.
The next mind the game pod is gonna he hilarious man lol
Finally an episode that’s an hour long 😂🔥🔥
The depth of the Dallas bench to be able to offer different types of defense and offense will be key on the series, they can try to burn out the starters of boston as they dont have that much rotation as Dallas. And the bench points will make the difference if dallas can get more points on the times there is a rotation, and I think luka would need to be smart and look to target someone for foul trouble, dont know if JT or JB depends on who is his main defender.
Hell nah😂
so... not a coach, and no bball smarts. GOT IT !!!
I like JJ ‘s way asking question. Person who get interviewed will appreciate his questions. Because if you’re Lebron, those championship detail question related to him mentally.
Sounds like Bron is dropping little nuggets for Kidd and Kyrie on how to defeat Celtics.
So awesome to see Lebron talk about Kyrie. They played together in the similar manner so to have him know what its like to be Luka at the moment. This Finals is gonna be great!
People tend to hate the Boston Celtics a lot but the reality is that they are an incredible team.
Bron memory is perfect he can tell you so many plays exactly how they happened not just from his career true student-professor of the game
Getting spicy boyz
JJ already have the gig, this just the new formula for interviewing,
JJ with Pat Riley’s 80s hair style lol
just need the suits next LMAO
@@R1or1ot lolz true that
Non shooters setting flare screens was a bigger GSW characteristic than shooting 3's, idk how people didn't catch it at the time (and even now).
Bron slipped in calling gobert "gerber" (baby food) sent me 😂😂😂
enjoyed listening thanks guys
What are the odds this script comes to fruition: JJ Reddick gets hired by the Laker’s. JJ works with Pelinka in off season to acquire players that can stretch the floor and defend. JJ injects his own variation of “Mazulla Ball” into their offense. Still centered around Lebron/AD, they battle through the west on a collision course towards Boston trying to repeat. Historic chess match between two greatest franchises. NBA ratings go through the roof. Wishful thinking ik, but still in the range of outcomes 😂
What about lebron James son
You never know, Kerr did it. Nick Nurse did it. Udoka almost did it. First year championship head coach!
Man that hour just flies by. Wish it was longer
Coach JJ woot woot! 😊😊😊
Love you guys giving Pritchard his props.
@ 44:50 What was that? Bron funny asl 😂
always great to see good chemistry between a star and the coach
I don't know if people feel the same way I do...but I feel scammed by this podcast. I never listen to podcasts on a regular basis but I did this one as it was legendary. To actually think the funny joke that these episodes being JJ's interview for the coaching job was actually TRUE makes me feel like the intention of this podcast was fake. I was hoping to continue to see JJ talk to other coaches and legendary players about the X's and O's of basketball, and for this to be a way for us to learn through one of the greatest minds of the game...but now I feel dirty. Screw JJ and screw Lebron for this shady ass show.
This podcast is a GEM.. keep up the good work!!
This been one long job application process COUGH sorry I mean podcast*
Need timestamps man
that 50 cent reference at the end is GOLD. Loved this episode!
This show isn't the same or as good as when you two are in the same room
These episodes are awesome!
Hey Austin, me and Lebron were talking, and we think it’s best if you come off the bench this year and be our sixth man.
Love this podcast. Thank you! Also, J.J. thanks for asking the question about Kyrie. I've been wondering how LBJ felt about Kyrie's growth.
Lebron looks like the guy from space jam
Yeah, the weak Space Jam 2
I disliked this comment
15:16 this is the wrong clip. LeBron is talking about game 1 of the 2018 Finals where he gets called for a foul on KD late in the 4th. The clip showed in this video is a random foul from game 1 of the 2017 finals
bron really did a podcast job interview to see how hard jj can glaze him as a coach broooo this just too funny
Damn the haters are here
Basketball talk and we are talking about glazing, good grief there is no hope.
The haters were missing in the first few pod episodes, they have joined as of recently 😂 or they just been wait for a moment so they can create a narrative n spread, true lurkers.
@@SortofFriendlySM spoken like a true meat gobbler my man 😎 glazing from the first episode!
@@SortofFriendlySM Lmao. You are right, Was just a matter of time. Basketball is dead man and I hate it.
JJ,Bron thank you guys so much for not crapping on the celts. Thats all we want fair assessment
Tampering is a hell of a thing
?
There are some sad pitiful people in this world. @@dparks2856
the series bron was talking about was actually the 2018 finals. the charge that was changed to a block was in the final minute of game 1. that was also the jr smith game
Luka really the white none athletic Lebron
JJ clearly didn’t expect LeBron to get that question right about Luka and the blitz. Just goes to show that James has possibly the best basketball IQ
Is it me or does it feel like JJ is auditioning for a coaching job every episode 😂
And if things don't go well with the Lakers this podcast is going to be over
@Christo_Trismegistus, why? That's just another topic to discuss amongst two like-minded people who like each other doing business.
