I learned in a hort class that white varieties of many flowers have the most scent because they are plain colored and cannot rely on bright colors to attract polinators, so they attract them with scent. Fun fact I thought you'd enjoy.

They seemed so friendly - I think in some ways they enjoyed the injection of extra money - their market was lovely with homemade food and goodies!
