Steve Kudlow and Rob Riener was friends and were in Toronto based bands since 1972-3.
Metal on Metal and Forged in Fire cemented them into the metal genre.
The story of Anvil movie renewed people's interest in the band in 2008.
They were even on the Tonight show with Conan O" Brian.
