The dude explained how extreme raising a child is and how it will often, only result in two extremely polar opposite outcomes: 1) The child unites the parents and helps to formalize what we consider as a complete family. 2) The stress of having to take care of a child, on top of everything else the parents might struggle with, end up destroying the parents relationship with each other.

I was working at one location that had primarily a Mexican and black customer base. One time a black couple was being checked out at the checkstand and this black guy walks in with a white girl and a Mexican girl on each arm. The black guy that was in line being checked out spoke out loud, "Damn. He got him a white one and a Mexican one". His wife/girlfriend turns and gives him a quick hard look. But that black guy was obviously very envious of that guy with the girls. It was at that time that I came first learned about what your comment is referring to.

As a Cavs fan I saw in real time what dating Chloe did to Tristan. Prior to their relationship he appeared as a happy but a little goofy, young dude clearly determined to become a better player. While dating Chloe he became self serious and started wearing designer hats and leather pants etc. His play suffered too. His focus appeared to shift from basketball to hooking up with IG models. It all actually made him unlikeable compared to before.
The worst by far was the Steve Nash scenario….crazy drama! He did get him some Nelly Furtado though!!!
