Have you used the UV resin to cure glass to glass? I'm wondering if that would work well.

I have and it seems to work as long as one of the pieces of glass is transparent so the resin can actually cure. I haven't tried it on anything that is under a lot of stress or will hold a lot of weight.

What brand UV resin are you using? I can’t see it. Also how did you clean the smudges off-if they were smudges of cured resin, how do you clean off mistakes?

the brand I'm using is ONGHSD although there are a ton of different ones available. For the smudges i used a little bit of acetone on a cotton swab. That will only fix minor mistakes, i wouldn't use that for big globs of cured resin. Hope that helps!

@@SparkleGarbage thank you! I have another question-what is the watts of your lamp? I have a 7 watt led lamp and the reviews said even 100 watt was sticky and uncured for some people so I’m wondering what yours is that cures effectively?

@@bismuthstone6318 I'm not sure what watt my lamp is but the listing for the resin said 36W UV lamp. Mine is just a little cheap lamp and works well.

If I wanted to use UV epoxy to stick charms to a tumbler how does that work? Because the light wouldn't touch what's behind the charm? I see people do it. But does the epoxy actually cure?

I'm not really sure. I have never tried it with two non transparent objects. I don't think it would cure completely.

Using this brand of glue, is it possible to reposition the pieces before curing with the light? The UV glue I have tried sticks the pieces together even without using the light :( I'm looking for something I can use and move the pieces until I decide they are in the correct places.

It kind of depends on the resin you are using. I find I typically have a few seconds to move things around before it gets too sticky which is why i like to lay everything out before i start gluing.

If you used a little more resin it would be a little more soupy and you could move it. Not sure if you want to deal with a soupiness or just use that as an additional layer to a clear background.
