Why are people who don't like her covers clicking on this video in the first place? I think she's the queen of covers, myself. She just sang "myself" as I typed that. Groovy!
I'm a Tori fanatic and never heard this before - because she's done SO many shows and has done SO many fantastic covers. It's not a weakness. It's a strength she built from her piano bar days. Just like all of us, she has favorite songs and loves to play them - with her own spin, which is always beautiful. I love this song. Just now found out Tori covered it. How it's not a good thing that she did is beyond my comprehension.
Utterly awesome! Tori has the power to hold you spellbound with just the start of a song...such a special talent and a real passion for the music, too!
@@markusweissenbock6337 That is a part of *some* live concerts. There are plenty where the audience waits until the end of the song to cheer/applaud/scream, and plenty of others where the only sound during the songs is to sing along. To me, even singing along is like going up to a piece of fine art and throwing some of your own paint onto it. Let everyone else enjoy the actual artist's work, would you, please?
Tori had to tell back at some twit in Atlanta one year I was at one of her concerts. It was a girl cracked up on dope. Security had to tell her to shut up. Tori yelled out "THE FUCKING MOTLEY CRUE CONCERT IS ACROSS THE STREET!"
Corbin Hollars If you think that Tori doesn't have aggressiveness then you should look up Cruel live on Jools Holland, her cover of Heart Of Gold, The Waitress live 1998, Body & Soul live 2007, etc.
wow i discovered tori recently, better late than never. i always tend to "discover" artists after the hype goes away. she is really a stunning artist. we have musicians and rock stars, than we have people who just blow past all labels and categories and raise humanity up another level. when she was popular i was stuck on "manly" bands like tool, primus, nin but as i get older i open up and can appreciate the finer tastes!
So this led me to the original which has changed my life forever. The original lead me back to Tori's cover, which promptly put me to tears. Ahh, the power of music!
Ppl always complain about audiences cheering (at least on youtube videos) but personally there a few things in life I love more than being at a live show and feeling the energy in the venue shift when the audience responds excitedly to a song. And yes, that includes a few screams lol. I remember Tori singing an Aussie classic here in Melbourne ("Don't dream it's over) and the crowd cheered when they recognised it, and again between verses. It was natural, spontaneous and exhilarating. Now, sometimes someone will keep shrieking randomly, usually for attention, and yes that's annoying. But some people need to lighten up and stop worrying about "etiquette" so much...it's a live performance, we shouldn't feel obliged to suppress our visceral responses. Also, this is a bootleg, so the screams sound louder than they would in a professional recording
I love when a Artist does a cover the way I do. Don't ever want it to be exactly like the original. I make it 'my own' 'my sound". That's precisely what Tori did here. what people misconstrued as wrong notes and cords, are simply her being her. Props Tori!
I'm a huge Radiohead fan and I must say that she does great justice to this song. This is my favorite Radiohead song and I love to hear great renditions of it.
***** Hi Ted, I saw her live once, too. fortunately, we had a much cooler audience, spellbound. It would get so quiet, you could hear a pin drop and by the end of some her songs grown men, weeping. She's amazing.
I love this cover, wish there was a better version like in a studio or at least without the loud audience or is there? can't seem to find one anywhere.
Tori's ability to create such an intmate feel to her live gigs. Her sound is set to hear all those sweet wispering vocals. Her piano grinding making both men and women in the audience hot.Truly hypnotic.
@softspot4heels I saw her in Rome, it was the 7th of July, the day of the terroristic attack in London. She dedicated 'Imagine' to the victims of the tragedy and she gave me chills. Best concert ever seen (however, during her last tour she was so... WOW!!!).
Tori is the ultimate snarky. Okay primal scream time is over, now I’m going to do what you asked…kind of, by that I mean I’m going to do what I want to do. And you’re gonna love it. ❤
@lototengofriofire the dew drop inn tour?!? eheh, have you seen the video of the opening concert of that tour when she stops singing 'crucify' because of the screaming audience? (she did 'loosing my religion' instead, but still...)
I love Tori, too. I don't know if she rivals Radiohead but this take is definitely different and its beautiful. Love it. Has she recorded this? The crowded is a noisy crowd for her concerts. Usually you can hear a pin drop in the auditorium when she plays because everyone is so mesmerized!
when i listen to this it's like my veins are digesting it without ceasing. it's almost painful, but in a good way, like you want to jump off a cliff in ecstasy sort of way. i love tori.
@inkandbone she really does. But she always goes back. I always want to snub her when she goes to D Town, but I almost never did (I'm an ex pat now). When I didn't get to a show, I'd be so sad! That said, I wonder what she'd say if no one showed...ha!
@softspot4heels If she had done the same concept with this tour as with Legs and Boots for her ADP tour, it would have been much better, cuz there was indeed so many good worthwhile covers to be recorded and kept in this tour. IMO though, that's all this tour had going for it.
Nothing like your favorite artist covering your other favorite artist. Amazing.
Right!?!?
She needs to record this song.... Beautifully stunning!
Where do I sign?
the Queen of Covers! Love seeing her live!
Why are people who don't like her covers clicking on this video in the first place? I think she's the queen of covers, myself. She just sang "myself" as I typed that. Groovy!
Probably to voice their opinions. Why do opinions that differ from yours bother you so much?
This is an incredible, anguished, version of Karma Police. Props to Tori.
This is the best thing I've ever heard!!! My favorite cover by Tori. God this is just...out of this world.
I'm a Tori fanatic and never heard this before - because she's done SO many shows and has done SO many fantastic covers. It's not a weakness. It's a strength she built from her piano bar days. Shes such a fucking weapon on piano.
Tori Amos. Just amazing.
God, that gave me shivers! Brilliant cover of a brilliant song! Tori is such a bad ass!
I forgot what an amazing lyricist Yorke is. Beautiful cover. Thx for the upload
How some people dont understand that in gigs like these you just cant scream like a horse untill the song ends?
Yeah, Tori gets weird, live... ;)
GDjesus........... I know ! IT IS SO ANNOYING AND DISRESPECTFUL ! :(
That is a part of a LIVE concert.

I love Tori's covers
1 Smells Like Teen Spirit
2 Hit Me Baby One More Time
3 Karma Police

+Gary Scott Enjoy the silence. Damn, that's beautiful
+Allan Manzanares losing my religion is also magic
+Allan Manzanares Yes! I came here to say Enjoy the Silence is on my personal top!
Gary Scott SLTS wasnt good. there is a certain aggressiveness required for that song, that Tori just doesnt have
Corbin Hollars If you think that Tori doesn't have aggressiveness then you should look up Cruel live on Jools Holland, her cover of Heart Of Gold, The Waitress live 1998, Body & Soul live 2007, etc.
This is just beyond beautiful.
Love Radiohead and Tori, this is a perfect cover.
She is awesome this woman gets it's I can't explain explain that feeling I have tons of respect for her nothing but the best for her and her family
love, love, love it a Radiohead fav of mine....Tori Amos and always her magical voice ❤️
I was there! By far one of the best concerts that I have ever been to....
I knew what she was going to sing (obviously), but still got goosebumps when she started... :)
She is Awesome!
Rivals Radiohead? SHE is a genius and has her own legendary music and songs...wow
wow i discovered tori recently, better late than never. i always tend to "discover" artists after the hype goes away. she is really a stunning artist.

I'm super glad you finally found her 😊 I got into her in 94 😂❤
I ❤ nin, tool, sigur ros, deftones, etc. I'm so glad to see a man who ❤s good music
was at this show at Meadowbrook in Michigan. God I loved that show and this song!!!!!
So this led me to the original which has changed my life forever. The original lead me back to Tori's cover, which promptly put me to tears. Ahh, the power of music!

Oh wow...how you must be really old or just haven't enjoyed live shows in your lifetime...
her version makes me cry every time!

omg one genius covers another. Tears!
her voice is a symphony with this song... *chills*
This is haunting
Masterpiece. Well done.
Great interpretation. I really really love the downward modulation
This is what you get - when one magician uses the stuff of another magician - more magic
wonderful vocal
love tori

this tour was magic, and she did an amazing job on this cover.
I'm always sceptical when it comes to Karma Police covers but this one was pretty good! :)
Some people have the talent to touch people.....it"s amazing.
Voz de diosa...
Thank you so much for posting this
I'm a huge Radiohead fan and I must say that she does great justice to this song. This is my favorite Radiohead song and I love to hear great renditions of it.

he's like a detuned radio"

Stifling mothers will leave us all sterile.
Yup, she can cover anything and make it sound like it was always waiting for her
shut up screaming, it's wrecking it, tori is an artist.
I love this cover, wish there was a better version like in a studio or at least without the loud audience or is there? can't seem to find one anywhere.
Omg my favorite doing one of my favorites!!
Tori's ability to create such an intmate feel to her live gigs. Her sound is set to hear all those sweet wispering vocals. Her piano grinding making both men and women in the audience hot.Truly hypnotic.

"I've decided to do something different... because I like you." 😊
My mood this morning for the win!
I was there! An amazing version.
I love this cover, and will always have a crush on Tori, but I think the Citizen Cope cover of karma police is the best
Was at this show. One of the better Tori shows I've been to.
amo a esta mujer !

Wow.
Cruel fate has made a goddess play for a crowd of animals!
Tori has rabid fans. We're all aware of this, lmao.
I am no Tori fan, but I love the Radiohead cover as her version masterfully echoes the haunting and melancholy feel of the original
Real. Mothafockin'. Talk.
Tori does not do covers lightly. Her covers of Leonard Cohen songs, is masterful also.
I am in love.
Love it! Glad I checked it out.

Ever hear the Radiodread album by Easy Star All Stars? Its so great!
that guy really wants to hear raspberry swirl.
she can sing a military march it would sound divinely
The best version
I am watch a loot cover of this song, but just this girl can bring the creepy feeling of this song, just like tom yorke.
This is Divine.
The most beautiful woman that I've ever gazed or listened upon.
I'm the screaming geek. I asked Tori to play the song and she did. I never thought she would, and was completely shocked.
I love this woman and I love this cover. I just wish I could vote more than one thumb up.
Honestly I love hearing people scream out for Tori, it has never bothered me
yeah
this woman.....
Tori doing Radiohead? Amazing! Love it!
GOOSEBUMPS
Do you listen songs like "winter"?
She is VERY talented...
when i listen to this it's like my veins are digesting it without ceasing. it's almost painful, but in a good way, like you want to jump off a cliff in ecstasy sort of way. i love tori.
WOW!WOW!WOW!

Not a fan of tori all that much but I do think she did it justice
@inkandbone she really does. But she always goes back. I always want to snub her when she goes to D Town, but I almost never did (I'm an ex pat now). When I didn't get to a show, I'd be so sad! That said, I wonder what she'd say if no one showed...ha!
