    Hello! What is your PC configuration for this tutorial? I have been using Quixel Library in Twinmotion for a while now but have always the same problem : when I put Quixel assets in my scene, saving takes VERY long time despite my 32Go RAM, Ryzen 9 3900X and AMD Radeon RX 5700XT...
    Any tips to improve this?

    Great video, however, no one is going to spend that amount of time on a flower. We need a direct bridge to Twinmotion with material assets. You make it easier, I'll spend the money.

    Is it just me or anyone else noticed that using normal maps don’t bump the texture like when using bump maps. Thanks for the great tutorial.

      İ dont see the full video but maybe i know wrong but twinmotion (unrealengine) uses directx normal. Megascans uses opengl normal. Maybe this is the reason. Do they convert normal map?

    at 40.02 the 3d plant downloaded from quixel needed further treatment in psp..then why we just sel the similar plant fr library of twinmotion??

    Hello, I am in accordance with the method of 40 '06 "save as PNG format, import the texture, open an opaque mask can be implemented, it all goes well, but learning to video 42' 07" replace with translucent material method of ordinary material, I will not be able to achieve in the Twinmotion2020.2 version, after adding the same PNG texture edge is still filling, don't know why, please have a solution classmates to give directions, thank you!

    I signed in with Epic games account but couldn’t download the materials for free.
    When I try to download the materials, it tells me to subscribe 😅.

    Quixel normal maps needs to be changed in photoshop to -Y normal map by inverting green chanel for working properly in twinmotion, right?

    I love Megascans but Twinmotion just doesn't offer satisfying realism when compared to its competitors such as lumion. TM really needs to take advantage of the new lumen technology within UE5. I see a bright future for it.

    Merci pour ces infos. J'ai un souci avec le matériau translucide pour créer des plantes. Ce matériau ne prend pas en compte la transparence de mon PNG. Impossible de l'activer. Suis-je le seul ?

      @@hitanshujain7013 There is a probleme with the transparency channel (png) and the translucent material. It's not working since the 2020.2.1 version. No correction in the last 2020.2.3 version. Bug reported here: twinmotionhelp.epicgames.com/s/question/0D52L00004scFnkSAE/after-installing-the-last-hotfix-202021-the-transparency-of-png-textures-stopped-working-when-creating-translucent-materials-translucent-leaves-of-vegetation-etc?language=fr

    reflections in the interior aren't so great :( .. what ever the effort you put into materials but the shadows and reflections aren't real :(

      I think that too, they need to improve to a more realistic lighting, everything seems very plastic, I don't understand why if twinmotion belongs to UE4 they don't give it that graphic power ... it would be crazy

      @@efeh1980 i can't blame them if it's the program structure itself that prevents them to go forward.. but the problem still there.. materials is very bad.. you can use the defuse maps only as materials.. bumb and reflectiona are bad cause the global illumination is bad already and causes non realistic shadows so the materials doesn't appear to be realistic but more like a stupid game.. shame.. even games now are really better than that.

    Great tutorial but, even if he's a good teacher, Martin has a terrific accent ! 😣 It was very unpleasant to follow, even for me who is french ! Would be better for him to speak french and use subtitles 😉
