I thought about a flash, but ultimately I knew that the flash wouldn't give me the best tune, I would need a dyno tune or an auto tune. There were no general maps for 0 ft sea level, arrow header akra slip K&N filter exhaust for the 08. And even if there was it wouldn't be perfect, since every bike is slightly different. In the future if I get another bike I will probably flash it though.
Who cares what you've spent on it? It hasn't made you homeless and it puts a smile on your face every time you swing a leg over and ride! I've said it before and I'll say it again Hero, beautiful cbr bro!
John Whitherspoon It’s really not though, the only systems that work well are on $16k+ bikes. All this tech is still newer and being developed on bikes.
Hey man, awesome video. I showed your channel to a friend of mine who 3 days ago bought his first bike! A 2004 CBR600RR. I'm picking mine up in 2 weeks. Just wanted to thank you for inspiring us and providing so much useful information for new riders. Keep on keepin on man!
I just bought a 2004 CBR600RR a couple of weeks ago. Previous owner layed her down and beat her up pretty good but she's mostly back together now. The look of those CBR's man... They get to me! Haha
i am a honda mechaniker in Europe and m8, i tell u something... Remember my words: This bike is THE BEST bike ever made by honda, be smart and never ever sell it.
Your motorcycle is one beautiful machine. I really like your videos that I sold my FZ09 and bought a 07 CBR600RR. I really don't know why you have less than 100k subs. Keep up the good work!
I love this gen of CBR600RR. If I had this bike, I would treasure it as well and do whatever it takes to keep it running. One of my favorite bike if not favorite bike of all time.
Of course! I love this bike still! I just rode it 90 miles today, spent most of the time doing 110 mph + on the highway, and the rest of the time in the twisties.. Bike does everything so well. Will always be my favorite.
No worries man. I have about the same amount into my 2013 cbr 600rr. But I love it and it is so worth it to me. It will be in my collection for ever. Unless I give it to my son. Will see
Hey there HeroRR, Chak here. Just wanted to say thank you for the review on the fairings. I have sent a request to Monster Fairings about getting a custom paint scheme set for my '08 600RR. Waiting for a favorable reply at this time. That review really put the nail in the coffin on who I was going to use, much appreciate the in depth review you did. Look forward to seeing more videos from you :D
We have so many similar mods! I especially love the end, "it's better than the uglier and slower 'new' 600rr", so much truth to that. I love my '08. Great video, see you on RR.net

Great video! Love some of these mods and def will be adding some to my Yamaha FZ6R and the wife's Ninja 400. Thanks for the in-depth, "why I like this..." approach, very helpful.
havent watched the video in full but i just wanted to say beautiful bike!! i used to own a 06 cbr 1000rr fireblade and with regearing along with some marchesini light wheel set really made a huge difference... consider upgrading the wheels if u want to really shave some weight off and reduce the rotating mass, which combined with regearing will make your cbr soo much more fun to ride and obviously faster top speed, or faster acceleration which is only exaggerated by regearing for even more!! acceleration is good for the twisties, and top speed turns the highways into my own personal track with midnight rides flying and i mean flying on down the road!! you will love it!! take care!! -P3T3R
and please in addition get some frame sliders and lower fork sliders just to ease your mind if she were ever to get laid down by accident... those sliders are worth their weight in gold in my opinion and will surely save your plastics from getting torn up or off and scratched up keeping that baby looking perdy.... and some sliders even have threaded replacable ends so if u ever needed to replace them to keep that clean look you can easily just buy new end caps.... just speaking from experience i wish i had sliders when i lowsided my ducati 999r... cheers -P3T3

My first mods to were from China as well, I’ve now change most of them to either back to stock or higher quality. Live and learn eh lol. Not saying Chinese stuff is terrible just the quality isn’t to par and a lot of it doesn’t fit the best. People might think it’s expensive to mod a bike but in the end it’s working on your bike that makes it all worth it. Kinda funny how I bought a saddlemen seat and didn’t use it either after a few uses lol I feel your pain.
A lot of money invested, but it doesn’t matter if you ride that many miles. If you love and want to improve your bike then that comes with money, like anything in life.

Why not flash tune it, you wont need the servo buddy, auto tune, pcv and expansion modules. They are dinosaur technology

HeroRR woolich flash has an auto tune option, look it up
HeroRR do helibars make a big difference in comfort? Are they worth the money?
Your budget for modifications is higher than my budget for my motor, gear and license combined
When I first got the bike my idea was to leave it stock =o funny how things change lol

Thank you! Good luck on that 600! Take the MSF course!
HeroRR I watched a few videos and asked around about a 600 as a starter. I signed up for a 2 day 2 night course that should teach me all the basics👍
Nice bro. What’re you planning to get ? CBR600RR or something different ?
Rence Fabian Im pretty set on either an R6 or a CBR. The new R6 is really nice but not sure if I want to accidentally muck up a nice new bike
I just bought a 2004 CBR600RR a couple of weeks ago. Previous owner layed her down and beat her up pretty good but she's mostly back together now. The look of those CBR's man... They get to me! Haha
I loved this vid. Not just because of the bike, but how you expressed your desire for each mod.
Cant wait to slap a set of fairings on my ninja.
I have a 2007 with similar mods, not much more than $1,600 or so invested. This video is perfect for giving me a good idea of what I want to do next.

beautiful little bike and the best model of the 600RRs by far. its sad to see them gone.

That bike is special. I like all of the safety mods mentioned.

Definitely, the best modded 600rr ive seen but the only thing that sucks is if you ever decide to sell it the mods add little to no value.
