55:30 Bruce knows for a fact that guys like Punk, HBK, Rock and others were bothered that their Mania match wasn’t last. And Punk walked out of the company because he never got the “main event” at Mania. Vince told him he main-evented against Taker at 29, and Punk called bullshit.
Considering I know many people who watched wrestlemania during that era just for Taker.. I'd say many do see it as the main event. It was always the spectacle of Mania and the entrance we waited for really.

I love Bruce prichard and I can listen to him talk all day but the customer is always right is one of the worst things that a company can do. You need to support your workers and understand that the customer is frequently wrong. That doesn't mean you shouldn't have to try to help the customer but the customer is most certainly not always right. That's a terrible business model. That allows customers to treat your employees like complete shit and that allows the customer to take liberties. Sometimes the customers write sometimes the customer's wrong

Been listening to a lot of older episodes and you can tell a total difference from when Bruce didn't work for WWE and now that he does. Conrad too. Before WWE came back calling, Conrad wasn't scared to take Bruce to task. Was just listening to the Kevin Nash megasode and Bruce spends the whole show just shitting on Dave Meltzer. Hey, I'm FDM 4 👉 but a whole episode is a wweee bit excessive. Still love the show.

The customer is always right is the saying that is over 50 years old will always be a boomer go to and it may have applied back in the day but that was before the customers took advantage of lying scamming and acting like Karen's because anybody in the customer service side of things see what you people are doing. 1:11:48 I disagree with Bruce’s opinion on cage matches, if you have a cage match and you are able to just pin someone, then what is even the point of having a cage? The cage shouldn’t JUST be a weapon, it should be Overcome, by escaping
The purpose of a cage is to keep other wrestlers OUT. It is to prevent interference from outsiders.

Listening to Bruce talk about cena is just why he will always be better than Roman all time. Aside from this run who is Roman? A manufactured main event shoved down our throats for years by Vince. He’s about to break hulks record for main events. Does anyone confuse Roman for being bigger than hulk? Hell no. Roman is great but there’s levels and he’s not in the echelon of cena rock Austin hogan he’s just not
His rants are kinda like wrestling fans rants every time WWE does something completely illogical on their shows. Such as dropping stories halfway through. Telling the beginning and then rushing to the end pointlessly…Welcome to the real world Bruce! Corporate America fcking sucks just as much as WWE storytelling! One successful story, Bloodline, in 5 hours of weekly programming doesn’t really work. That’s an D- grade.
