I agree, the Casitas is one of two baitcasters I recommend to anyone looking for a bang-for-buck reel that will perform above its price point. The other is a Daiwa Tatula CT. I slightly prefer the Tatula CT. The best bang-for-buck rod I recommend is the Cabelas Tournament ZX. Some think Diawa makes the ZX rods but who knows. They are $100 and go on sale for $80 regularly. I own and have borrowed/fished a ton of different rods and reels. IMO you wont go wrong with a Casitas or a Tatula CT and pair it with a Cabelas Tournament ZX rod. As a side note I recommend inspecting a rod before purchasing. If you see any defects in the blank (scuffs or dings) or the rod guides are not aligned move to the next rod until you find one with no imperfections. Its amazing how many rods I see with problems from several well known brands.
Interesting about the Cabelas rod. I actually own a spinning rod that I bought from Gander mountain and it cost me $13. Love it. Sometimes you find pleasant little surprises with the cheap stuff.
Update: I no longer use dobyns rods. I know that sometime rods break. It's part of life. But for a $120 rod to break on the cast is a little ridiculous. This happened with my fury 703. I got the whole moment on film, and I sent the video to Dobyns explaining my situation. They said that I still needed to mail the rod in for "inspection", which cost me around $20. I did this, and 6 days AFTER I got delivery confirmation they told me that the rod had "impact and crush marks", which doesn't make sense at all. They said that because of this, I would need to pay $50 to replace the rod PLUS RETURN SHIPPING. So it would have added up to $90 to replace a $120 rod.($20 shipping in for inspection $50 replacement fee+$20 return shipping. I will no longer be using Dobyns rods, and I recommend that you do not either. The rod break was sad, but the customer service was downright terrible.
Isaac Pelletier might check them out thanks! but, you should do a rod and reel arsenal because it would be really informative and it would most likely help boost your channel!

Good luck on the channel!
Thank you!
Good review, well spoken and you broke down and explained everything that someone interested in these would want to know
Thanks brother!
I have the 705cb on the way
Great video! Looks like a nice combo!
Nice setup, I've been thinking about trying out some of the other Shimanos.
The Curado K is my favorite all around, but the casitas wins the "bang for your buck" category. Definitely try one out if you get the chance!
Just started using the excense dc 12 and its awesome
