The opportunity to run is fine ...as long as you have some social power, influence and know the ins and out of politics local regional national and maybe international. and informed on law making and everything involved with that. Because you may make it as a candidate , but to take up public office takes a lot more and if you’re not prepared you may end up a puppet, a rep for a team of or group who will operate and pull the strings for you in the background , in order for you to keep and maintain your role.
