  • This week we visit a small family organic coffee farm in Costa Rica. This was a special day touring with my son and grandson. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I do.
We are an empty nester couple traveling the US with our Tiny camper from Runaway Campers. No we are not full timers but we do spent months each year on the road.
Ed struggles with Parkinson’s disease. Some days are better than others. If you see him shaking don’t worry he is fine. With medication it is under control most of the time. Through the magic of camera stability you can hardly notice.
We post a video most Sundays we hope you will join us. Subscribe if you like or just drop by occasionally.

"The pig fell victim to the Christmas dinner..." sounds like a great first line in a travel novel. Ed, if you had put "The Pig Had To Die!" on your thumb nail I bet you'd have gotten a viral video out of it...ha ha ha! RUclips always pushes for creators to use drama and a face with big eyes to draw attention; this would have been a great test for you. Stunning vistas...thanks for sharing. 🙂

Hey Ed! This is a great video! Really enjoyed the tour! I am actually a bit of a coffee nerd myself! Roast my own beans using Behmor Home roaster! Have some amazing Ethiopian Single Origin I am currently roasting. Maybe I will bring my roaster with to Persimmon Hill and roast you and Nancy up a batch!

He is not licensed for export. He is just getting started and would like to one day get to that point. The problem with coffee is the middleman make all the money. This is starting to change as farmers find direct paths to market.
