- exposing my domino FAILS from my most recent video “Dominoes vs. Machines” ( • Dominoes vs. Machines:... ) Sometimes my domino projects don’t work… whether they stop halfway through or topple in the wrong direction, they can be unpredictable! can you spot the domino fails in the video?
I want to reiterate that it is totally okay and normal to fail! It happens to all of us all the time and is just part of the building process. Over time, I’ve learned to embrace my fails because those are the experiences that help me learn and become a better Domino Artist :) And in that case, it’s not really a “fail”, but a wonderful disguised opportunity to grow 💪

That I cannot properly build tricks
To not stack too many containers of mini dominoes on top of each other because one year ago, I accidentally knocked the top one of that stack off, causing the mini dominoes to spill and one of them to topple most of a setup! 😭
To not toss and shot dominoes into the containers for fun when I clean up after finishing a setup because I often get carried away by that 😂

Lilly, I’ve shared the crossing speed wall fail (7 times)
Wall barriers are very tricky and risky to build, I'm impressed that you have the patience to build the exact wall all over again 5 times after all of those fails
The idea of revealing the domino wall, forming into a thumbs up structure, is so genius... literally
This is beautiful! It's amazing to see how much both skill and patience evolves. That's how we have now come to building in ways nobody knew about! Awesome job! PLEASE MAKE THE PART 2! That honestly would be fun to watch!

Hey lily my name is ben i noticed that one of the split towers did not fall and the rest of the dominoes didn't fall down
I think that it would've been nice to see that "thumbs up" wall have an actual colored pattern of a "thimbs up" so that the viewer can see the pattern and enjoy the toppling experience better.
for sure, I see what you mean. I wanted to take another route though by making it all one color in an effort to obscure the image. That way, the viewer thinks it’s going to topple like a normal wall, but then the thumbs up is a surprise reveal.

10:14 yeah attempt 2 and 4 like worked but it didn’t go as planned
The video is very satisfying to watch but I swear I only spotted 2 fails in this video. The first one is the X clip with the mask editing at 2:24. The second one is the frame cut of the big wooden domino at 5:58. Btw your editing skill is better that me! 😀
oh nice! honestly I find it so fun to edit the fails haha that in itself is a challenge!
