@@Jimmy-cv2jsNo its an old English gesture. Its meant to come from the Medieval times when the French would cut those two fingers off the hands of English Longbowmen, the archers would make that gesture to say "Haven't caught me." Supposedly it's just a myth though
The problem is that they are more niche than it seems. If it was Flea, Claypool and Mark King it would def be more markeatable. It seems it's a pretty solid band, nonetheless. Popularity NEVER equals quality tbh.
Yeah the American war for independence was totally legit. The world economy is definitely not still controlled by the crown and other ancient powers. No way. 😂

With the cannibal corpse shirt I thought you were gonna talk about Victor wooten, Steve bailey, and alex webster jamming at Berkley. Keep up the great behs content.
There was also that time in 2006 at The Jammys where Les Claypool, Mike Gordon, and Phil Lesh played together on Les’s song, D’s Diner. Pretty legendary in my book
There's a djent metal band called Extinction Level Event that does the same. Got 3 bassists, a drummer, and vocals(might also be one of the bassists, I don't remember).
I was not aware of this, so thank you! Very happy that the New Order bass sound and style stick out. I'll be checking that out. And i am currently wearing mt BEHS shirt! Cheers 🍻
The Bay Area prog band MoeTar also had three bass players, three of the best in that community. But only Tarak Ragib played bass; Matt Lebofsky and Jonathan Herrera played keys.
my first concert was in January of 1993 in Cincinnati. Ohio. Ned's Atomic Dustbin, w/their double bass player setup. The Ned's deserve more attention for sure, still such great music.
Two famous people who have played bass (although mainly guitarists) who you’ve talked about before, Jeff Lynne and Roy wood were in the move at the same time as having their main bass player Rick price so there were technically 3 bassists in the band at the same time. This was also the same when they became elo as the late great keyboardist Richard Tandy was original hired to play bass in the move and elo live, as they already had a keyboardist. There is even an early performance of elo on a tv broadcast in 1972 where Jeff, Roy and Richard all play bass on different songs during the show. Going back even further with the original 5 piece move they had their bassist ace kefford, Trevor burton ( who later permanently switched to bass when ace left and was played bass in the Steve gibbons band) and of course roy wood. There is a live tv broadcast performance of the move where even there lead singer Carl Wayne plays bass on one song during the show so you could technically say that they actually had 4 people who could play bass in the band at the same time.
DUDE THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR INTRODUCING THIS THESE ARE LITERALLY 3 OF MY TOP INFLUENCES!!! Also Ali McMordie from Stiff Little Fingers bass tone please especially from the song Suspect Device
Rad!! I shall scope them out. The Japanese Drummer Tetsuya Yoshihide put together a project called "Bass Army" that had 3 bassists- Karada Wa Oto O Dasu Mono. Most people would prolly hate it tho- Avant Garde Jazz Punk aint for everyone. I love it.
Yeah, I thought for sure it was Spinal Tap.
"Talk about mud flaps, my girl's got 'em"

that was the slickest middle finger i’ve ever seen
wow I didn't see it until I saw your comment lmao so slick i aint even mad tbh
Both of those mean "fuck you".

Just the idea of this superband alone sounds amazing and I was so surprised when i saw that their songs have barely any views.
Nice pfp😊
You would think having a band with 3 successful bass players would make it triply popular, but in reality it divides their popularity by three 😂
@@aurora9688 thanks, it's from an account that posts badly cropped mgs memes

tbh a lot of supergroups end up being pretty unknown
That Independence Day joke was hilarious
I like this one... We didn't want to colonise the moon, what would be the point?.... No one to give it back to
