I just want the Paley Center to understand that withholding of the full video actually qualifies as a war crime under international law. So, you can either post the whole thing or enjoy your cell in The Hague.

All Carl could do was to waggle his hand as a futile gesture to get a wedge in between them..and then the recording ended. Such a testimony to unadulterated EGO ! Very interesting! I'm personally thankful that Mel's still w/ us . He was clearly the extravert of the group -- so clearly he got *ALL* the words in edgewise. Carl was a mensch -- but also cagey. He knew his "place" & always deferred to his fellow performers while quietly expanding his own strengths as a writer & a director. I'm sure he got annoyed w/ Mel at times -- but he had the good sense not to make a fuss over it. As for their onetime boss, Sid -- he made a fuss over *everything* & was abysmally self-destructive -- but his overwhelming genius & essentially sweet nature were such that the legends he employed never turned their backs on him. Thank God -- otherwise, no one would remember him . . and he truly deserves the acclaim more than anyone from his era (if not any other) . Thanks for posting!!!
