Yea I am really liking them so far!
Good video, what is your pink wrasse? Looks beautiful
Hey its a male lineatus wrasse
Nice vids. Will your warsse nip the clam?
Never seen it happen before, though now that the clam is dying/not doing well it wouldnt suprise me
Looking great! Have you tried dosing inorganic phosphates to get a reading? Keep an eye on your sps over the next 4 weeks in case they pale out. you may have already found the magic balance point
I have not at this stage but definitely considering it. I watched your most recent video on the topic. Very interesting. Given I just added more fish, I’m going to wait another couple weeks and see if my phosphate level change as a result before adding any dosing.
That Anthias looks awesome-. Which species?
Pseudanthias Aurulentus
@@ReefNerd thanks
Looks like your going to need a bigger calcium reactor in about a year from now?
Hah I think I need a bigger calcium reactor already!
@@ReefNerd maybe you could diy it by adding a second chamber and recirculate between the 2? Some of the new units are built like this already. Would be a heap cheaper than buying a whole new unit.
How does an ATS use Alk? Have you tried dosing nitrates and phosphates?
Algae growth consumes alkalinity. I am toying with the idea of dosing a small amount of phosphate. I just want to take it slow. For now none of my corals are pale or showing signs of low nutrients, which makes me think that they are getting what they need from my feeding even though the water tests are reading 0
clam spawning has to do with temp fluctuations
Interesting. We have had some very cold weather lately. Though I have a decent heater controller running… wonder if I had big temp fluctuations in the tank…
