I have an idea for a CD/DVD cabinet, as well as spice cabinet where door itself opens and is a shelf 1 DVD/bottle deep. But I like your design as well, so, I'll be thinking on it.

I have seen it fail in end grain joints. I think it's because the capillary action pulls it so far into the joint that the glue layer is to thin. That's all I use. Thanks for watching.

That is a tough one. Make a video when you come up with a solution. It would be cool to build a counter balanced lift to have storage that pushes up through the counter top.

Tighter bond glue doesn’t fail the wood will fail before the glue will... It’s a great product I have used it for years. Love the cabinet Ed
