    I did 1:1 cream cheese to im. crab and I didn't taste the cream cheese at all. Don't get me wrong they were delicious, I snack on imitation crab sticks all the time. Just makes me realize the ones from the chinese places are basically 95% cream cheese! Next time tho I am going to try 2:1 cream cheese:crab. Oh store bought sweet and sour is nasty, so heavy! Will make your homemade pinapple version next time.Thanks! I will definitely work on perfecting this, normally after eating take out rangoon I feel ill after from all the grease. These were so light and easy to digest.

      I don't buy any specific brand. I mostly get clothes from Walmart and Kohl's.

    Do you have a recipe for the red sauce that you dip them in?

      Are you talking about the sweet and sour sauce they are served with at Chinese restaurants? I don't have a recipe, but that is a good idea and I'll work on one!

    The biggest problem I have with restaurant crab Rangoon is there is always not enough filling or crab. I would put more crab and filling in mine.

      I agree, but don't overfill them or they won't seal correctly.

    If you wanted to add garlic would you use fresh or powdered?

    • @TheSaltedPepper
      @TheSaltedPepper  9 месяцев назад +1

      I would either lightly sauté and cool fresh garlic or use powdered. If raw garlic is used, it won't really cook inside the rangoon and could be very pungent and even bitter.
