Fun fact: Since Grove street families were meant to be orange but were then changed to be green, you can still get some voice lines when answering with "Y" to opposing gang members where CJ says "OGF for life" or "Orange Grove fool" which proves that Grove Street was meant to be orange.
Oh, and they even turned it into lore.
I love how Rockstar used scrapped content to make lore. Such as CJ's outfit in Liberty City. (Seen in the introduction) His outfit was actually the beta outfit.
There’s even more proof with the Grove Street member with the shades official artwork. He’s clearly wearing orange instead of green.

The outfit you made for CJ from the first trailer, his shoes were actually different. They ended up not being in the game. If you look closely in the trailer, they aren't his black low tops at all.
