Of all the allied WW2 figures I have bought over the years since the '70's I would say these are the best I have seen. Great detail, poses and molding. Always had a big interest in the BOB and the end of the ETO and these are perfect for that period. Perhaps Revells best set along with the late war WW2 German infantry. You could not ask for better detail on either set.
Another good review. I've always liked this set, along with the "Ardennes" German set that went with it. Any chance of a review of those figures? The massacre you alluded to was at Baugnez les Malmedy, usually referred to as the Malmedy massacre. There is a memorial at the Baugnez crossroads and nearby a Baugnez 44 museum, complete with a photo of Peiper on the front!
Thanks very much Stephen it's a nice set, I have the matchbox Africa Korps next but it would certainly make sense to review the German set if I can lay my hands on it!! Thanks again for your extra information on the subject matter!!!
Definitely my two favourite sets of WW2 figures since the '70's. Other Revell sets I would recommend would be the Revell WW2 British Para's and Infantry. In fact rate any of the Revell figures from 1990 onwards from medieval knights - WW2. Only set I would not recommend would be the WW2 German fallschirmjager. Perhaps the worst set of figures I have ever bought.(Molding is diabolical).
Les figurines sont très belles, beaucoup de détails mais avec ces boîtes il y a trop de figurines identiques ils devraient variées les posent sa permettrai d'utiliser le contenu de la boîte entière pour les dioramas et même pour du war games
Another of my favorites. Loved the winter setting of WW2
Nice kit

Awesome my friend I have two boxes of them
Great kit
When I had this kit the plastic was top quality these new ones seem to be cheap plastic
That figures, they are still okay though
Great detail, poses and molds though, with perfect colour for an allied set of figures.
Nice intro. Congratulesions
