Honestly, all of the cosplays were great, but I have to commend the owner for going the extra mile with his costume. A helmet and a voice changer? That's deserving of my utmost respect
it's just a mic so people can hear him, you probably can't hear well through the helmet at all

I feel like a lot of office workers, if given the chance, would do the same thing. Especially if they're single.

The Crocodile game was a thing here in the states too when I was kid. It was called "Crocodile Dentist" and you'd pull the teeth with some plastic pliers instead of pushing them down lol.
That and hungry hungry hippos made my and my sisters life.
Crazy thing is, I had the push down version and I'm in Canada! Maybe because was a smaller model? Honestly I have no idea.

It was really interesting to hear the owner's story about anime and cosplay. The cosplay bar seems like such a fun place to visit. The handmade GZA looked delicious, and the interaction with the cosplayers was super entertaining.

To Connor's question of Who still cosplays Black Butler in 2023? I Have/do. 2023 was when I made the mistake of cosplaying the Undertaker in 85 degree weather + humidity. It was an experience for sure
as one of the cool people who give season two actual care am begging for one of these bars to pull a old youtube cosplay roleplay session image the Alois an Ciel shipping at one of these it will be so dumb an I would pay extra to be there
Are there rules for this? I thought you could cosplay any character you wish. It isn’t like Halloween where people try to wear hip costumes referencing the last year.
This is exactly one of the reasons I like Japan, because it has so many unique things that other countries can never have
Okay, now someone needs to make an anime about Owner-san's story, because a normal officer worker quitting his job because he couldn't stand it to open a cosplay cafe before they were really a thing sounds /so incredibly anime/ and I want to watch it!
God I wish we had these types of bar's where I live. I'm not even into drinking alcohol but I would love to own/manage a place like that. Guy had the right idea in pursuing something he loves in spite of people's view of it at the time.

i really liked the ciel cosplay alot but the owner with the super sentai cosplay was so awesome too they both tied for first to me.
