Don't forget the sick HU value bet with A8 vs 54. The standard value bet for high stakes HU is pretty much a happy check from nearly everyone in Ben's chat
Yep, winning a 2% equity hand, that is not even close to being a shove for chips, let alone in ICM (check it with GTO charts, or Ben's own if you prefer) and becoming chip-lead isn't what we should be focused on. Nor nailing straight flushes. We should instead celebrate the fold for 33% pot jam with TP, that is a x/r flop for chips. Let's not be results-oriented because it happened to be wrong. After all it helped us stay alive so we could re-jam K6s for 17BBs and become Chip-lead. Real solid showing. Time to move up to the $25ks again.
@@prabhatkiranmukherje "nailing the straight flush", he literally got 0 chips postflop on this straight flush, so I don't really see your point there For the K6 hand, firstly it's a 2% equity hand after the flop hits, but it has way more equity globally, and Ben will apparently release an analysis it's not a common/in charts move but if you have a read your opponents will overfold, it's an hand with an okay equity and a good blocker Obv he ran good, just as anybody who ever won a poker tournament, but he also got a lot of chips from thin value bet, good lines and disciplined fold, and he isn't getting enough creds for that, this was pretty much my point But you can keep showing off your well developed sens of irony, I'm sure Ben will be sooo annoyed hearing thought from a random on the Internet that is probably playing stakes he left 10 years ago

Villian isn't always betting the river, and short stacks still have a lot of ICM value. There are always going to be hands that call turn and fold river
Protip: If you just suck at poker and constantly get it in bad you dont need to play anywhere near 7 million hands to land a suckout like the K6s. Downside is not winning a lot. But money is overrated anyway. *irony off* Thanks a lot for sharing this great run.
