My current cozy game is Bloomtown. Heavily inspired by Stranger Things, and what makes it cozy is that we do detective tasks all over the town. There are combats on the "underside" but it's not a heavy combat, we could actually skip it.
So cool seeing Potion Permit on the list. I found this game physically on the Switch at my local retro store and scooped it purely on the premise alone. Games like these are going to be perfect as the weather gets colder and the year winds down. Great list as always, Jay!
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a gem of a game. There are some harder, fiddly, timed-events in the game, like the boss fights, that can get really frustrating, and kinda annoying, but I loved the game. One of my favorites from Nintendo.
My cozy games currently are animal crossing, story of seasons: a wonderful life, football manager (which I have spent many hours on during my lifetime haha) I used to enjoy stuff like theme hospital, zoo tycoon and the sims to chill too but I’ve not played those games in a while. Some great recommendations here Jay, I’ve never played goose game but it looks like fun 😄 I’ve always enjoyed Pokémon, not got round to playing new snap but I like the look of it, it looks stunning. I’ve still not played stardew valley, one I’ll get to for sure at some point. Top video bud 👍
I don't necessarily subscribe to cozy games. I don't know what it is about me that enjoys being amped up 😂😂😂 But I will say this war of mine. I consider to be a cozy game even though it's anything but however it's a game I pick up and put down when I just want something to fill the space but I don't want it to consume my life. I find puzzle games to be like that too or sports games. So in a sense, even though I'm not a cozy gamer, I do have games that I enjoy more for the down time... Does that make sense?? 😂

Caption Toad Treasure Tracker reminds me a bit of Lego Builders. Lego Builders was cozy, told a cute little story, was easy and relaxing.
Have you tried Ooblets? Definitely adorable - there are lil critters, candies to collect and dance battles! Just a cozy sigh of a game.

I am currently binging Stardew Valley with my kid, and the local co-op feature makes it SO much fun. Great video as always, cheers and game on buddy.

Core keeper is a great cozy game. Also, if biss combat is not your thing, look up how to cheese each boss cuz its very possible

I mean...Doom 2016 almost made my list, so I'm 100% on board with nontraditional cozy ideals. 🤣
Such a great list of games, Potion Permit piqued my interest, and I just recently picked up the Coffee Talk double pack.
I recently tried Spirit Tea and found it to be pretty relaxing and enjoyable.
Great video! I really gotta check out HOA!
Stardew valley is fantastic, I spent way to much time farming lol
Golf Story is my no1 cozy game.
Holy crap how did I overlook Golf Story?!?
Go kraken!

WTF? Boomer shooter? LOL...I'm Gen X and Doom is as cozy as they come.
