Love this game, its insane to me how long this went past us, considering theres lots of Simulacrum warriors like you. And the way you describe it doesnt even make it sound like a bug, all these interactions have precedents with other abilities
The game failing to give key information isn't exactly a positive selling point. It's cool this combo exists, but it got past people because it literally isn't displayed or explained anywhere.
I'm not sure If something has changed, or I'm doing something wrong, but with the same Innodem build, my blade storm still needs a few seconds of DoT to game-end lvl 190 heavy gunners. EDIT: I just did some testing and got better damage with the Rumblejack, but then I put a forma on it and the damage went sour. My Innodem was formad before my testing, and was rank 0 during. Is there a mechanic that revolves around the weapons actual level/rank? EDIT 2: I just realized the incarnon evolution perks are not working in the simulacrum. I'm sure this contributes to the lack of damage.
the damage is affected by stealth multiplier, and stealth multiplier is affected by weapon level (so lv30 weapon will have like 8x stealth multiplier and lv0 weapon has like 1x), so if you forma something, the damage will drop due to this multiplier being reduced.
I saw some guy doing long disruption runs saying that Ash's 4 could kill lvl 8000 enemies. I remember thinking there's no way that's possible. But now it all makes sense
Returning to the game after 2 years and seeing an ash buff gives me hope, i played him since the moment you can farm the normal one, and played him so much but his 4 changes hurted me back then 😢, now this dmg might make up for that pain
2 mods in question here. How would Shepard and corrupted charge impact things? Since bladestorm creates companions, is it just not as good as steel charge? What about flat combo as well from corrupted charge?
I recently made an crazy fun ash build thats ridiculously strong😂. The build contains your "base" survivability mods such as "the umbral mods" primed flow, fatal teleport. The build has 145duration 85 efficiency 145 range and 192 strength(weird number ik😅 not all my umbral mods are maxed due to the fact that id either have to forma x- amount of frames or get a second set umbral mods) I added Nourish to this build accompanied with Energy Nexus. Now this is the fun part of the build. Its an infinite energy build. Energy Nexus constantly triggers the Nourish buff when active. This build allows me to constantly spam his abilities without ever having to run out of energy. The Nourish ability is ridiculously broken as it also grants you a viral buff on all your weapons.
Not in every situation unless someone is playing an S+ tier warframe that plays the game for you like Saryn or Mesa. Bladestorm can still quickly mark cluster’s of enemies, and basically nothing survives it when modded, it just scales better than so many other damage abilities Not to mention you can fight and shoot while bladestorm is active. So while the fun and survivalability factor is down, Ash technically got a DPS buff. Still a great frame
Ash is pretty much perfect at this point. I just wish they'd update the visuals of bladestorm so they actually look like shadow clones and not loki decoys.
I got panicked when it didn't oneshot my lvl 165 Officers, but nowI noticed he doesn't have "steel path modifier" here, mine died in 1 mark... *with steel path modifier on.* So this works, and this is great, and I hope DE don't touch it.
Why was it only 2 elemental mods were used on the innodem build? I'm too lazy to go back through the video and listen to that part again so instead i'm commenting to also make the algorithm happy
Huh. Last time i modded ash was really back then when covert lethality + fatal teleport combo was a thing since blade storm requires long time to setup when he can only mark once (/second on one enemy iirc) before he can do it again on the same enemy. Well, i do miss ash press 4 to nuke entire room, but this current one will do
The mod Covert Lethality adds more damage, but is only useable on Daggers. As for why not the Rumblejack? Because when you get the Rumblejack, it's just a few hours' grind time to get the Innodem. The Innodem only requires Rank 1 with the Holdfasts, and you get more than enough Standing in 1 day to rank them up and get the Innodem BP, so it's not even timegated.
Great, another asterisks(or 3) on the "Stealth Mechanics" and their already over the top inconsistency. This has to be some holdover from so early on they didn't realize it was still set up to not show what was happening.
question: spoiler strike or condition over load ? even if I have no primer, can't condition make extra damage from my pet using viral and i mod for corrosive instead ?
Even without this you can do high level content, just need to build in strength and build up combo counter. Trickier but works pretty much the same. This is kinda busted and probably will get fixed now that people are finding out. It’s most probably a bug since the dmg number doesn’t show up and kills this way don’t count toward your kills
Assume It'll be Nerfed? given there was no documentation from DE about any Ash Reworks and that this seemed to come out about the same time as a whole slew of Glitches with Duviri Safe to assume it was unintended and will be nerfed soon?
There's a dude who keeps pushing for an Ash rework on the forums. He's got a bit of an unhealthy obsession with getting his point across, I have no doubt he'll be posting on here soon.
I really want to try this, but I saw a lot of ppl saying is going to get patch and I'm quite sure I that my ash is pretty much foundry new, also I wanted to use it in circuit and needing a stat stick makes it more situational. Idk if I want to use the resources
I wonder if this will get patched? cuz this seems to be a new thing, no one has noticed this until recently so either this is a stealth buff which yay, or a new bug that will be patched out boo
Would Excalibur's Radial Blind with the respective augment work similarly to Banshee's Silence? I've been thinking about using it since it drains less energy
Even though *per cast* Silence costs more Energy, it's far more Energy Efficient due to the high duration of Silence. With the build shown, Silence has a Duration of 62.1 sec, before counting Molt Efficiency. Whereas you'd be casting Radial Blind every few seconds. Plus, Silence has the added benefit of shutting down Eximus' Abilities and the otherwise very dangerous Violence Acolyte's own Silence Ability.
i think sliding can increase the atk speed of those finishers, and... makes them consistently do more attacks? i dont know whats going on with that but my testing isnt exactly the largest sample size _total_ eclipse does work on them, but its based on where they are not where you are elemental bonuses seem to be all converted into true damage because finisher, so go wild with whatever ele bonuses you have on rivens innodem evo bonuses do for sure factor in, for some of them, dont ask me why only some i dont know more than that, but i still hate bladestorm. even with this being the case (its been the case at least since citrine from what ive heard) having to manually look at each enemy to then activate the ability means that you could instead just use a gun and one-shot them like that, which begs the question of why youre going through the extra step especially since he has one of the few crit chance bonuses that can be used on whole squads, which feeds into just one shotting a whole hallway with a gun being better until above level 300+ (on steel path normal gameplay, circuit you can basically just do level cap kills faster than the bladestorm with the right guns)(and lets be real, who plays above level 300 these days outside of circuit?)
Why use strength at all? Why not just use overextended instead of stretch so you still have room for streamline or even fleeting and just always spam bladestorm to stay invis
Because there are finishers, and then there are finishers. Some finishers counts as finishers for finisher perks, while other finishers only count as finishers, not finishers. If this makes no sense then you understand.
is there a reason why im getting random energy from using bladestorm on enemies? i literally never run out of energy sometimes and its not because im picking up energy orbs
If an enemy dies from the first strike, the ability will refund the energy cost as if they died before your ability connected. It is unknown if this is considered a bug.

Huh? I've been using this general build for over a year ever since I found an Ash build on Overframe that praised Savage Silence. I never questioned why it works.
if you dont wanna use a faction mod (like me) just swap it for quickening, 85% attack speed increase isnt the best but will speed up animations if you dont worry about worry too much about damage
The finishers have a cap, so the innodem evolution and primed fury should hit it...
@@UrSoMeanBoss that was removed as well
all of this makes me so confused on why ash is like this, like there are some weird warframe quirks
but ash is so quirky he can just obliterate if you dont scale with strength??
But now it all makes sense
.....if bladestorm makes summons, do those count for the new mods that proc off summons?
Returning to the game after 2 years and seeing an ash buff gives me hope, i played him since the moment you can farm the normal one, and played him so much but his 4 changes hurted me back then 😢, now this dmg might make up for that pain
I have a Rabvee (hammer zaw) riven that gives bonus finisher damage. Is that worth using with Ash?
I just wish they made it so enemies would start getting hit when I marked. And not when I stop the ability
shade would also be a good addition to help keeping you invisible
Would Archon Continuity work if you use a toxin status mod on your melee weapon?
Don't have Ash myself so can't test :)
no
2 mods in question here. How would Shepard and corrupted charge impact things? Since bladestorm creates companions, is it just not as good as steel charge? What about flat combo as well from corrupted charge?
corrupt charge works jsut like build 2x combo
but blade storm doesnt create companions it makes clones them being similar to spectors
I really like that subtle Ash rename
I recently made an crazy fun ash build thats ridiculously strong😂. The build contains your "base" survivability mods such as "the umbral mods" primed flow, fatal teleport.
The build has 145duration 85 efficiency 145 range and 192 strength(weird number ik😅 not all my umbral mods are maxed due to the fact that id either have to forma x- amount of frames or get a second set umbral mods)
I added Nourish to this build accompanied with Energy Nexus.
I've seen both Venka Prime and Innodem discussed as Stat Sticks for Ash but I guess Venka is just worse now? Back to using the Innodem I guess.
Wonder if the ether daggers could be useful with Ash as they give stealth damage multiply.
I may be in the minority, i miss old blade storm, now by time blade storm is activated, my team has already killed my marked enemies
Not in every situation unless someone is playing an S+ tier warframe that plays the game for you like Saryn or Mesa. Bladestorm can still quickly mark cluster’s of enemies, and basically nothing survives it when modded, it just scales better than so many other damage abilities
Not to mention you can fight and shoot while bladestorm is active. So while the fun and survivalability factor is down, Ash technically got a DPS buff. Still a great frame
Just got Ash p today, so this is perfectly timed
Congrats! And wanted to say i really like your profile picture. Had it saved on my phone for a while now xD hehe
@@Silly_Cilly thxxxxx, yours is pretty great too
@@Iris0331 Also alsooooo! I think your name is really sweet as well ^^
@@Silly_Cilly Thank youu, Racheal is a really beautiful name as well :3
@@Iris0331 Thanks miss :)
Bug? Is it fixed now? Cuz I have no idea, I had been playing with banshee mod so... everything was dying anyway.
I don't know if they've changed it since I haven't played in half a year but sliding will increase the clone attack animation speed.
still works tho it doesnt make sense
This video really teach me how to be a space Ninja.
*with steel path modifier on.*
So this works, and this is great, and I hope DE don't touch it.
Time to play as the space ninja that was advertised
Why was it only 2 elemental mods were used on the innodem build? I'm too lazy to go back through the video and listen to that part again so instead i'm commenting to also make the algorithm happy
Huh. Last time i modded ash was really back then when covert lethality + fatal teleport combo was a thing since blade storm requires long time to setup when he can only mark once (/second on one enemy iirc) before he can do it again on the same enemy. Well, i do miss ash press 4 to nuke entire room, but this current one will do
i didnt know this wasnt known course now it doesnt matter but as an ash main i figured everyone whod played the game longer knew
Why karist? I read that hammers and rapiers have biggest finisher multipliers and the shock dagger from drifter has even bigger.
I remember a few years ago I red the wiki to check if finisher mods affected blade storm and it said they didn't...I feel cheated
I was using ash wrong, but didn't know it. Now that I know I was using wrong stat stick and it turned out to be correct. I'm... shocked
Excellent video!! Again thanks for portuguese subtitles
man, you have nova umbral should do a collab
question: spoiler strike or condition over load ? even if I have no primer, can't condition make extra damage from my pet using viral and i mod for corrosive instead ?
I hope this isn’t a bug and DE reverses this. It finally makes ash viable in high level content. Like Gara he’s a glass cannon.
You mean Ivara, Gara has DR and Healing with her Augment for splitterstorm. She is as Tanky as Citrine or Nezha.
Even before this bug(?) Ash could still do high level content with Blade Storm and Silence with the Savage Silence augment.
ash is and was literally one of the best endurance frames for levelcap disruptions and survivals
Even without this you can do high level content, just need to build in strength and build up combo counter. Trickier but works pretty much the same. This is kinda busted and probably will get fixed now that people are finding out. It’s most probably a bug since the dmg number doesn’t show up and kills this way don’t count toward your kills
Assume It'll be Nerfed?
given there was no documentation from DE about any Ash Reworks
and that this seemed to come out about the same time as a whole slew of Glitches with Duviri
Safe to assume it was unintended and will be nerfed soon?
Thank you kengineer, hope some day they will give us a new augment for that ultimate, something like wukong's clone but x3
There's a dude who keeps pushing for an Ash rework on the forums. He's got a bit of an unhealthy obsession with getting his point across, I have no doubt he'll be posting on here soon.
I miss simpler times when u would just press 4 on draco and go ape
IMPORTANT - melee weapon mods no longer effect ability 4 blade storm!
Plus, Silence has the added benefit of shutting down Eximus' Abilities and the otherwise very dangerous Violence Acolyte's own Silence Ability.
i think sliding can increase the atk speed of those finishers, and... makes them consistently do more attacks? i dont know whats going on with that but my testing isnt exactly the largest sample size
_total_ eclipse does work on them, but its based on where they are not where you are
elemental bonuses seem to be all converted into true damage because finisher, so go wild with whatever ele bonuses you have on rivens
innodem evo bonuses do for sure factor in, for some of them, dont ask me why only some
i dont know more than that, but i still hate bladestorm. even with this being the case (its been the case at least since citrine from what ive heard) having to manually look at each enemy to then activate the ability means that you could instead just use a gun and one-shot them like that, which begs the question of why youre going through the extra step especially since he has one of the few crit chance bonuses that can be used on whole squads, which feeds into just one shotting a whole hallway with a gun being better until above level 300+ (on steel path normal gameplay, circuit you can basically just do level cap kills faster than the bladestorm with the right guns)(and lets be real, who plays above level 300 these days outside of circuit?)
Sliding cuts animations in half
Is ceramic dagger incarnon good stat stick for ash?
Why use strength at all? Why not just use overextended instead of stretch so you still have room for streamline or even fleeting and just always spam bladestorm to stay invis
Can blade storm trigger the jat kittag's mod "vulcan blitz"? Its the 60% enemy max health 6m radius explosion on death
Does the RumbleJack's finisher passive work with Ash's 4
Why does blade storm trigger arcane trickery but not the innodem evo 20 combo on finisher?
Because there are finishers, and then there are finishers. Some finishers counts as finishers for finisher perks, while other finishers only count as finishers, not finishers. If this makes no sense then you understand.
Presumably Eclipse + the augment that gives it to allies would help?
yes but the clones have to be in light isnt needed tho
is there a reason why im getting random energy from using bladestorm on enemies? i literally never run out of energy sometimes and its not because im picking up energy orbs
If an enemy dies from the first strike, the ability will refund the energy cost as if they died before your ability connected. It is unknown if this is considered a bug.
ooo tysm i was so confused about it,@@TheKengineer
