The garage thing actually makes a lot of sense to me. You see people towing their cars behind RVs pretty often. Also, it would be a perfect setup for a rich person with a track car that wants to travel to different tracks.

I can totally get the usefulness of stowing a car in a motor home. It allows you to travel the local area of where you're staying without doing so in a mammoth RV. Now would I want that in this first RV with a super car? Eh, no. But the applicable utility of it is cool. And the second one is more appealing.

The car storage is actually pretty genius. If you've driven one of these they are terrifying in really flat places where there's nothing to block the wind. It's basically a giant sail that you try to steer. The car helps drastically lower the center of gravity and keep the whole thing more stable. Plus you eliminate pulling a trailer and all the headaches that come with that.

This is genius if you happen to be absolutely breaded and can drop stacks on inconveniences like I drop axe kicks on women, frequently, indiscriminately, and with confidence. It is a massive flex tho, but practically it's extremely niche and only sorta makes sense for very specific scenarios, like Car shows, remember it's only very specific vehicles that fit, and big conventions involving sports cars, maybe a very specific breed of race car guy would be interested, but probably not. Clearly it's more of a status and flex related purchase, which I can respect, because sometimes you just gotta look cool, so props, and it's an engineering marvel, but ultimately a little silly when if the tech was applied to accommodate your standard vehicle it would destroy the actual interior space, so you'd just be driving a glorified half trailer (with cool bells and whistles), unless you specifically are transporting sports cars, in which case.... it's kinda genius and cool.

Rather than having to tow your car and expose it to the elements, or tow it in a trailer, you can simply put it in the RV. This is probably one of the more practical things when it comes to rich people nonsense. People are VERY serious about car shows and most people stay in motor homes while they're on site. We have to remove like 8 ceiling panels that probably won't look as good once we put them back. Oh, your car winch broke? We'll have to remove a whole chunk of the back end of the bus to fix it.
Maintenance and servicing nightmares I'm sure these things are. I'd much rather have an RV that looks decent but I can get in there with a wrench and fix a plug or something with just a screwdriver and an attitude.

You don't drive this motor home for transportation of your car lol. Imagine you're in Paris for a week and live in your motor home. If you wanted to go to disney land, the store or any other sight seeing place you would either take a taxi or the bus. With this motor home, you can drive your car wherever you wanted to go. Motor homes are stationary when they have settled down.

  • @too-bright

i think you are overthinking the supercar compartment.. you see a lot of RVs with their car on a trailer being pulled. This just takes out the need for a trailer. If you are driving an rv around, you will likely stop at a camp site and it may be far enough away from restaurants/cities etc that you would want to drive your real car to those places.. so this allows you to do that. Actually a cool thing to have

I can see the appeal of having a "mini garage", as people typically do tow cars behind their RVs and what not. That said, that garage appears to be very small, so you're pretty limited on what types of vehicles you're going to take. So if you're going anywhere that might require a more "rugged" vehicle, you're probably out of luck unless you bring an ATV or a motorcylce.

It is a rich people's toy - it is totally possible, this model was bought by some guy, who just thought it would be cool to have one, just to forget it alltogether in his garage. Especially in germany, this things are very useless. You have a very, very big (and slow) motor vehicle that you have to steer through narrow roads. Usually these thing were sold when "friends" of rich people were nearby, to be able to brag about the money they have spent.
