as a man u fan when i saw spurs play last season and the way ange handled himself in the spurs camp and tackeled around the constant spurs negative alwhile playing in a daring way i loved that guy instantly. i used to watch spurs game more than manu itself cuz i hated the way ten hag handled everything with man u. As a Spurs fan, I was baffled by Ten Hag's tactics. Our midfield of Lolo, Madders and Deki was so imbalanced and ripe to be outmuscled. We love to play out from the back, but so many of our defensive players are not press resistant. Yet Utd just allowed us to play freely.
If he had just pressed us high up the pitch from minute 1 instead of waiting to be 2 goals down and at a numerical disadvantage, this is a different game.

If we brought in another manager at the end of last season were we going to win the league this year? No. So my thoughts at the time were give ten hag the benefit of the doubt of injuries and what not because he had a good first season. It’s only 6 games in and can be saved and we could finish top 4. I don’t think much has been lost by giving him the start of this season to prove everyone wrong. We can now say for sure that it won’t work out bring in another manager and I all we’ve sacrificed is a few points and the new manager could definitely finish top 4.

My God that was absolutely shocking. Not a single United player was close to good and only Garnacho... maybe... was borderline acceptable. Did not even watch that thinking Spurs were exceptional and making them look bad, they (the United players) were just so insanely bad every single one of them. Unable to string together two passes, misscalculating receptions, giving the ball away completely for free. I found it a little similar to the Brighton defense against Chelsea. Both matches I was sitting there feeling like the opponents, Spurs and Chelsea respectively werent really to be credited with why their opponents were bad. Difference being Brighton was tactically out of shape and only the one defender was indvidually really bad. United were just so out of sorts in all facets of the game it is difficult to say if they also got the tactics significantly wrong or if it was just the players unable to meet any standard you would expect a professional player to meet. Dont agree with the red card at all, but the way they were playing I hardly think it would have changed anything. Usually I am in the "goals change matches" and having one or two goals/ref decisions go the wrong way early can be huge, but I just think the players have quit on the manager and no matter if they were 12 let alone 11 for that second half that they would lose.

Truth of the matter this squad is HORSESHIT. 200mil spned this summer for a CB Talent, 3 FC Bayern and a PSG reject. I said it time and time again. Zirkzee wasnt good enough for Bayern Munich. When he came thru the Bayern Academy he got loan after loan. Couldnt do it at Parma nor Anderlecht. Got finaly sold to Bologna. Had a half dcent season and United thought he is the next big thing. DeLigt and Mazrauri both werent good enough for Bayern neither. Ugarte isnt a ball playing midfielder. Luis Enrique didnt wanted him at PSG anymore. Why? Because he sucks on the ball and is technical limited. But hey for United he is the No.1 Target for the DM Spot.
This Club had the chance to start fresh. Part ways with ETH. Sell Bruno and Rushford to rebuild the squad. Get a young manager with his own vision and take on modern formations and systems/tactics. But instead of being brave they fucked it up once more. Extend the contracts with ETH and Bruno. Bruno! An alomost 30yrs old who will NEVER lead United to any major title.
