Just got a M1861, with a Broken Stock , got to rebuild and get working. * CHECK your SEAR SPRING, on the M1861, if its worn or loose it can cause a failure on second cock, Also if the bridle on the Tumbler is cracked or damaged it can cause excessive movement causing the sear to drop and miss the second notch on the Tumbler. Cheers from New Orleans Louisiana!
