I found some great videos and subscribed! Do you know that you can actually have this "visualization" with one tactic over the other by clicking the little cog on the top right corner in the tactics screen (when in match) and selecting opposition analysis?
The best thing I can say about your videos is that they will be applicable to every FM game SI ever make. Features, clicks, where to find data may change, but your tips are universal because they apply to football
Hey bro, just found out about your channel. Watched half of the vids in 2 days, i learned so many things about tactics, formations, player roles even after playing the game for 5+ years. Hidden gem in the community, keep up the good work. Cheers !
man, thanks for the video, i was struggling with my tatics, late goals, a lot of headed goals, but i watched the video and now i can see what is going wrong offensive and defensive, thnak you a loy. Cheers from Brasil, sorry for my english.
I only watched 1 and a quarter of your videos and I think you have the potential to be the best FM RUclipsr of all time. Please keep it up. Need more content from you please.
The fact that you are telling us the tips and roasted nunez along the way is pure CLASS😂😂😂 btw great content and you inspire me to want to play fm again now thank!
Just want to say thanks for this video. I used to watch the games full match, but I didn't have the additional insight before watching this video. Got victory in two difficult matches with a healthy xG lead. My main takeaways were definitely the off the ball position of your team's players during possession. I also agree with "less is more" thing.
Hey! I´ve been watchinmg your videos cause my sister gifted me FM24 for my birthday after a couple of years of not playing it because in my country its very expensive. I´ve always made my own tactic and started a save with Man Utd and did the usual business, but my tactic was not working at all. And there were a lot of new things, and reading the description didnt realley help and i was flabbergasted. Then i found your videos and everything started to make sense. I watched 4/5 hours of your videos and now my players are doing what i want, most of the time (fucking hate Sancho and Rashford is a bum, no passion), thanks to your videos and nice explaining! Thanks a lot Avgdad!
I had a question - do you analyze or look at pass maps prior to match (in game as well) and if you do, can you tell me if there is any significance in analyzing pass map? Great tips btw!
I don't, but that's because I tend to glean that info from full match and player movement - check my Build-Up video. The pass map provides a good look at the patterns your tactic is generating, though, so I definitely see the value in watching it for a few games and then drawing conclusions. Checking the pass map for the opposition is a good idea though since you can check their build-up patterns and press or mark the key areas
I only have enough instructions to fill my approach. I remember hearing a "rule" of having 5 or less instructions selected when I started playing FM 22 (currently playing 23 and might get 25), and I agree with knowing what your tactic is doing/wants to do and picking instructions (or even removing them) to address a specific issue you're having consistently. I have two tactics and the difference is more what positions I have. For example, my original is a typically arrange 5-3-2 (1 DM, 2 CM), but I found I have some more DM-capable players coming through my farm system so I created a 5-3-2 that has 1 CM and 2 DM instead, with roles adjust so the former MEZ-S is now a RPM-S and the other CM slides to the dead-center instead of the offset as part of a CM two/three. I really don't even go up or down in mentality - biggest change I usually do is whether or not work the ball into the box is on or not. And most of the time I leave it on because, ideally, playing "sideline-to-sideline" will stretch the defense horizontally and hopefully the mobility of my WB and CM-A will help stretch the defense vertically and finding holes in their zones to receive passes from the byline towards the spot or just behind the box the keeper occupies.
Your videos are amazing even for experienced players The only thing i wish you would do better is to ypload more often some of them. Also do something that noone has done before Get a formation, for instance the 433dm and give ideas how to play it. For example a video with wingers ,another with inside forwards ,another with inverted wingbacks etc And do this as a series Then your.subscribers including me will conquer it,learn how to play with different ways etc Keep the amazing job man
Ben 'Noncey' Chilwell 🤣I'm wondering if there is a way to 'help' an opposition player having a yellow card to get a second one (I saw Enzo Fernandez having one after 10 minutes)? Otherwise I think these are all great advices, I enjoy a lot your videos!
Getting them frustrated especially if they have the traits or temperament to bite. So hard tackling, tight marking so they don't get any of the ball and lash out. Atleast works for me😂

ooh, magic. Pinning this!

Exactly, that’s the way to play, try and replicate real football.

thank you so much :)
For the first tip. In the tactics screen in game click analysis and the cog lets you overlay their formation and heat map! Very helpful!!

love it, I totally get where you're coming from
Your videos make my days better!
Hi I was wondering if you could do a video covering advice on how to set up against different formations and different styles of play that teams have?
I think a few people have covered that, but I'll look into it!
it was blurring out because the ball was behind that section. it happens
Your videos are amazing even for experienced players

I'm saving your comment, gonna have a think about that :)
You sound a bit like The Spiffing Brit. Especially when you say : greetings fellow football managers. Great content by the way 👍👍
I do like him tbf! :) thank you!
Thanks for the vid, i will be trying this out. Do you watch every game in full? If so how long does a season take?
haha no, only games I really, really want to win - but I do switch mode if a game starts going badly

Top man!
I noticed that some of your players have 1 1/2, or 2 1/2 stars for their roles only.
Do you not care about this? Just green attributes?
absolutely. Don't care about stars at all because if I play a guy somewhere, there's specific traits or atts I want to exploit :)
Noncey 😂
your tactics never work. i used this tactic in atalanta, west ham and real sociadad. and I was in the relegation zone in all three of my careers.
because you didnt make a tweaks, like he did.
hundred percent this. I always tweak, use shouts, adjust based on oppo, and so on.
