I sure wish you served Southwest Florida! There is a desperate need for a good mobile mechanic down here. The last man was incredible. He was from Ohio and had a masters degree in Mechanical engineering from Ohio State. He did many jobs for us and then his wife wanted to go back to Ohio and there he went. I hope someone else with honesty and integrity fills the mobile roll we really need.
@@Scarredfan yeah the demands going up everyday, mobile mechanic is not about certification is all about experience, I don’t have any certification but I have done it 7 years and I learned a lot
Certification don't mean crap. I prefer a person who knows how to fix the problem at hand, vs someone who possess a piece of paper. I was in the Air Force, NOT a booksmart person, about a B+. I was sent to cryogenic school with my superior, a MSgt. I was an E-4. We've been in school for about 1 month together, everyday. In school, he could cite any specific info from the book. Now we start making LOX/LIN together for some field experience. One day, something malfunction & the values were off. Since he was higher ranked than me, I waited for him to take charge. He floundered. So I step in, manipulate the dials, watch the gauges until things went back to normal. Just like a worthless college degree kids get these days.

Hi Mathew im a bmw dealer tech. I want to be a mobile mechanic like you. How did you get the clients? I really want to do this and any advice would help.
I'm considering using a mobile mechanic instead of the shops around here because I don't trust any of them. Do you think I have less chance of ripoff or upsell from mobile mechanics? by the way, the 110 an hour you charge is low compared to here in Cal. They charge $170 and higher.
Everything is "cheaper" OUTSIDE of Commiefornia... Like Florida doesn't have state income tax and Commiefornia is losing people so fast they want to make a law to penalize people for moving out! Eg: Joe Rogan, Elon Musk...

I blindly followed what the dealer recommended for too long. As I learned more about my cars and maintenance, I learned how corrupt dealers and service advisors are.
