I could hardly breathe watching this; it sucked all the air out of the room. It also made me weep. I was so moved by Anmiray’s courage, sad about the burden that she had carried for so long, but also joyful that she has moved to a place of forgiveness and healing. I don’t know what else to say except I wish this beautiful woman a happy and blessed life for the rest of her days.
Compassionately written, Jeffery. She is creating her remainder of her life. She is healing her heart.😃 All of us had been abused, somehow, some way, unless we are fortunate enough to not have to bear that. We all have choices to heal from our transgressors. Hurt people, hurt people. Our fathers are supposed to take care of us, not hurt us. But if they are damaged they need forgiveness. Those of us from the light have that responsibility. She knows this, she is one who brought light to the darkness. Much love!

Beautiful woman! My father did it when I was 3 yaer old. My mam beat me every day. Now Im 45. I have a wounded soul but there is a lot of beauty nearby and it heals. People like this woman help wounds heal. Life is good!

I too was verbally abused. And my father recently snuck a few more choice comments into our conversation. The difference is now I see it for what it is. Him masking the truth.
It still hurts . That he rationalizes physical abuse by him and my brother.
I have an opportunity to speak at a court appearance, and I think I will. For me. For my healing. And then maybe in the end forgiveness will come.

Thank you so much for your kind words. You have helped my soul. I too was raped by my father from a young age until I found the courage to say no and leave. I continued to see him but he never spoke about the rapes or ask forgiveness. I love how you were able to find a place in your heart for forgiveness for your father. I am working towards that. I am 67 years old. My father died 4 years ago.

@forrestwheeler916, I resonate as I had a similar upbringing. I have learned there are no satisfactory answers because there is nothing you could have done to prevent the abuse. It is not for you to answer - that is the inner work someone else must do. Just let your light shine, and give yourself love, praise for getting to the other side of it. You're strong, courageous and resilient. And, you're safe now (I hope). Cheers.

Omg I got goosebumps!! I was verbally and emotionally abused by my father who called me a slut when i was just a pure good girl. I knew it was his twisted mind that was looking at me sexually that caused him to say what wasn't true. It takes a lot to heal from that and forgive as you did. You were the higher soul. Be the light

I’m so sorry for that Kathleen and I am so sorry that it happened to you.
Earlier this year, while having a conversation with my family, it happened. I broke the supreme law of our family... tell NO ONE what goes on in our family.
Out of nowhere, I started sobbing and shaking. Uncontrollably.
After 50 years of hiding, the truth of my father's abuse came pouring out of me like hot lava. I tried to stop it but I couldn't. It literally felt like a huge mass in my throat and I couldn't swallow it or breathe around it. So, I let it out.
There were stares and a deafening silence. Finally, my mother said "Well, you turned out alright." The family picked the conversation back up like nothing had happened and I went home -exhausted and humiliated.
~I can assure you all that I am far from alright~
Both mother and father are gone from this world now, father two years ago and mother just in May of this year, and the rest of the family has abandoned me. My brothers deny what I said.
One even said "You always gotta make everything about you."
(Thinking about it now, maybe just commenting on this video about her story IS trying to make it about me. I don't know)
I'm not at a place of forgiveness or healing. I'm trying to be.
I know that everything I remember and feel about my past shapes and tarnishes my future. I hope I can stop remembering anything new. It just adds to my pain.
I hope I can grow like this beautiful woman has and start my life anew. I don't want to die having only lived a life of fear, shame, regret and loneliness. But you know what they say about old dogs and new tricks.
I love her and her bravery.

Reading these comments it came to me that healing has no time limit . We all have the story of our childhood and it has become a "me too" movement for all of us to speak. Your brother was right it was about you thats who it happened to! They cant make it go away by saying it never happened to them, because it did happen to you. Saying you turned out ok, how the hell would they know they are still abusing you and denying you. If you need to yell it from the roof tops you go. Because the healing really is all about you. They showed nobody is coming to save you!

Yes, how deeply moving it is to listen to Anmiray...like you i am reminded of Maya Angelou 's ' gift to the world. I have a black and white photo of Maya on my bedside table. With her arms outstretched, smiling towards the camera, on a beach somewhere. She seems to transcend the photo frame. She has been a great comfort to me in my suffering, which left me unable to speak. 🧡🌱💜🌿

I find Green Renaissance is very much a place to come to heal, just like Kamal is seeking to do for other people. Her story was very moving. What an achievement for the soul to be able to forgive and move on. I'm guessing the young children she is with at the end of the video are hers . As a patreon for this channel, I received this video in my inbox days ago.
I was at work and decided to take a break to check my personal emails. I felt like an excited child Christmas day when I saw your email Justine & Michael.
I was too emotional to write a review after viewing the video.
This woman is a source of strength, courage, intelligence, beauty, wisdom and the list goes on.
