- Without hope is to be in a deep, dark well without a rope. Without hope nothing makes sense. We can’t pull ourselves out of bad situations, and we can’t build ourselves up. Without hope there is no light, only darkness.
Hope helps us rise up from the ashes of despair. It lifts our eyes, and lets us see what could be. Hope tells us there is more, and gives light for us to continue on and find the way out of the darkness. Hope keeps us walking, searching, longing, loving. When we have hope, we can continue to share our gifts with the world. And to awaken hope in the hearts of others, is to render the most precious service.
As H. Jackson Brown, Jr., said, “Hope is the magic carpet that transports us from the present moment into the realm of infinite possibilities.”

He came as a stranger to my life and saw so much hope in me, everytime I get a chance to talk to him, I always feel alive and filled with positivity. What sets Green Renaissance apart from so many others who try to "create" inspiring videos, is that the wisdom shared is not something conceptualized and packaged for the sake of making inspiring videos and getting likes, but is spoken by people and flows from the very depths of their souls because they genuinely understand and live it every day.
Despite his own personal tragedy, Theo understands the concept of service to others as the true key to personal happiness. He reminds us acts of kindness and love don't have to be overwhelming in size. he says: "It doesn't have to be a big thing. Most of the things that happen are really small things." Perhaps he never read anything by Mother Teresa, but he intuited her wisdom when she said, "We can't all do great things, but we can do small things with great love."
The message of today's film is especially poignant in view of the sometimes seemingly hopeless situation of the world; climate change and climate disasters, war, poverty from wealth inequality, hunger, political strife, and social division. Sometimes it seems so overwhelming that you want to give up on the future of humanity and the planet, but then something comes along and reminds us even if we can't be "eternal optimists," perhaps at least we can try to be "addicted to hope." My father who i wasn't allowed to see died a few days ago, one of my sisters kept me from him, she had him cremated before she texted me he had died. I only have good memories of him and it wasn't his fault that i didn't grow up with him after the age of 5. But I mourn him and the hope that I had to have a relationship with my siblings. They killed my hope my telling me I shouldn't be where I'm not wanted. My glad I'm not like any of them! My carrier is of service to the public and that and the love I have for my children are the things that have kept me alive and give me hope and purpose in life. God bless and protect the good and kindhearted we don't deserve to be scapegoats for anyone's anger.
True, when I first discovered this channel, it was mind blowing that such a channel could even exist. Now I know, that if a channel like this can exist, on the internet, then there can be more too, and I want to find them!!!

after 7 years non stop self-help and 2 years intense trauma-therapy ......today I can say: Instead of living, I just survived. And I lost everything that was important to me. Thats not life. Nature is life, nothing else. My only advice to younger people: Go into nature and breathe. Stop trying to fix yourself - this is pointless!
A man I love very deeply once told me “You’re not broken. Welcome to life.” We go in search of self help and healing, and it can be an endless cycle. What we really need, and the gentleman in the video said it, is understanding. This is the mirror, we often see it in nature. The trees reflected over the water, the geometry we name sacred. When I see myself in you, and vice versa, there isn’t room for judgement. Only love, tolerance and acceptance. “Small moves, Ellie, small moves” A quote from one of my favorite movies.

I am perfectly happy when I am good and loving to my pets and see they are well and happy. My dog does the same as the dog in the film, touches me to get my attention. He always gets it, and my whole heart, eternally. I carry all my deceased pets in my heart, every moment. I feel the love they have showed me, is the purpose of my life. Love this message; it really resonates with me. I work as an early childhood special education teacher with children from poverty. My very best days are those when I feel myself actively sharing my own light with my students and they are absorbing it. The beauty of this video cannot be expressed - in every aspect - the participants, the filming, the music, the editing, the content. This is one of our favorites of all of your videos - which is a tremendous statement and feeling - as every single video you make moves the two of us in ways we are forever changed and grateful.
Please convey to this amazing man our sentiments. I feel what I write here speaks for many. He may not have “belonged” based on his “coming into the world circumstances” - yet, his being - his very being - and what is doing with his life - gives us all a gift - of belonging - with him, with others, with the world. What an incredible wise, loving, giving, compassionate, strong and gentle person he is. And aren’t his animals such reflections of his gentleness - and joy?! Indeed.

Thank you so much to that very humble, friendly man, Theo and to his always hungry dog sitting at the table with him and to the grouchy old cat. I did really enjoy him while he was telling about his addiction to help and to always hope for other souls on their journey through life. I wish I would have had a dad or at least a friend like him. I am a private care giver for my disabled husband after his terrible heavy brain injury - since about 20 years now - trying each and every day to give him a caring home, some joy and of course hope to carry on his heavy load which life has given to us . Theo seems to be like a real lighthouse - I do feel the same way - and we all here need those lighthouses of hope, light and some love.
