- In this video I will show how to hook up the Lighting Trendz halos the lights have already been custom built for me by ModFX and are absolutely AWESOME! Where did you fit the demon eye from top of the projector or from the side??
It is on top of the projector. I do have a video with the lights opened up if that would be a video that interests you.

How do you turn them off. I shut my car off and went in the house and hours later I went outside and my lights were on? Also is it possible to drive at the same time as changing color as the lights, I noticed you can only do it when car is off and parked... please reply. Thank you!!!
You have to turn them off on the app. As long as you are paired on the app to can change them whenever and power them on and off whenever also. Have you figured yours out yet? 🐝

hella helpful! by my bluetooth receiver came messed up and I couldn’t connect bluetooth or anything smh!

When you got these lights install did only one green bulb turn on?
No they all worked right away.

Also can they etch a custom design of your choice onto the bulb?
gman4hire Thank you brother that is one of my favorite things about my headlights!
It depends on your state's laws but you could always make them amber and that would be ok. I just don't put mine on blue or red and haven't had any problems.
That is the projector lens but yes as long as the image quality is good they can custom etch what you want! For me that really customizes your car to you and I really really like it!

I just got these Lighting Trendz for my 13 RT. My car does not like them directly hooked to the power. I'm going to put in a relay with a switch off 86 . I'm finding my car won't start using the front power block and the same ground. For that reason I don't trust it directly hooked to power.

@@MeanBee392 Will do. I'll do a vid clip of it. My RT was a 5.7 but it now has a 6.2 block with Whipple. Up until now I mainly did performance mods (she's around 700 to the wheels now) so my buddies are giving me a hard time about the lights. lol I don't care, it was time for some appearance mods.

MeanBee392 I got mine in and working. But my demon eyes aren’t coming on. Did you have to do anything different on the app?
@@dirtybirdvision That is awesome to hear that you got them in and working! Sorry to hear about the demon eyes. My demon eyes are controlled by a remote and my halos are controlled by my phone. Are yours all on the same system?
MeanBee392 I talked to lighting trendz, apparently there’s a separate app for demon eyes.

Are the flow series halos still working? I'm on my 3rd set....getting tired of opening my headlights.
Mine are still working and the only problems I have had are with the Bluetooth controller. That's a bummer to hear that you have had such bad luck with yours and that would get old quick opening up the head light that much. Thank for watching and commenting!
MeanBee392 I think I may be having the same issue, mine were working fine and then went to turn them on one day and message comes up invalid device, and don’t let you change colour or turn off unless I take the fuse out. Trying to locate another brand controller but having no joy

It is an app on your phone and the app has a power button to turn them on and off.

The two that I use are Magic Light and MagicLED. Hopefully that helps.

Quick question friend, what piece of extension wire is it? Is it the flow series underbody 21’ extension? Cause I’m gonna need an extension like that size but don’t see my flow series strips, just underbody
The extension that I had I just got off of Amazon under LED lighting. Hopefully that will be able to help you out.
Can i put this on my 2006 Suzuki swift?
I dont know why not.
Yoooo . So I ordered halo kit from lighting trendz that have an option from DRL BOARD or halo kit . My camaro has HID already installed. I bought the halo kit but I'm thinking I should've bought the drl board . Whats the difference as I think I ordered the wrong one?
Your DRL are different from you HID head lights the kit you got should be the right one. 🐝
Is there a video of you actually installing the halos in your headlight ? Just watched your video on removing the front face plate .

@@MeanBee392 Well turns out I purchased the water proof ones lol, so I attached it directly on my lights . I tried to follow your video for installing the DC converter etc but ended up having to use some other stuff because I couldn’t get the 3M tape to stick 😂. I'm looking to get a kit of halos and DRL for my 2019 charger. While doing some research I came across your video and had a quick question. Since installation, have you had an issue with your battery draining despite being connected to the engine bay terminal? I appreciate your time
Sorry for the late reply. No I haven't had a problem with them draining my battery but I have thought about mounting a toggle switch by the post so I can have the option to cut the power off to them if I ever did experience that. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@MeanBee392 thank you for taking the time to respond. One of my concerns what it draining power because its always connected to that terminal.
On a side note, how does it function with the automatic lights? Do you always have to use the app to turn on the DRLs?
Did you have to depin any wires on the OEM connector for the headlights?
No I didn't. I have thought about it to add in the turn signal future that they have but I just haven't done it yet. Are you doing a set?
@@MeanBee392 I want to. Just trying to understand all the connections and how they work before I buy. I get confused with the directions. They told me one app can control the demon eyes and halos if you have two bluetooth controllers. I don't want two things to carry around.
@@MeanBee392 Also it says to tap into the parking and sidemarker wires pin 6 and pin 14. Did you run both of these to 12v battery instead of pin 6 and pin 14?
@@michaelfeltenberger843 I understand and they can be very confusing because I was confused at first with mine. So they are saying that you can put two bluetooth controllers on the car for the lights and one will run the demon eyes and the other will run the halos. The controllers will be mounted on the car in a hidden spot that you pick and once they are hooked up and mounted then you will not have mess with them anymore. Then you can control either the demon eyes or halos via lighting app on your phone.
@@michaelfeltenberger843 That's correct I just went straight to the 12 volt stud by my fuse box and user their wiring with an inline fuse on the power wire. That's why I did not have to tap into any wires. Hopefully this helps you if you have anymore questions feel free to ask.
To my understanding, I would need to purchase the headlights also from lighting trendz? Or you installed the leds in the headlights?
No you would not unless you don't want to do the install your self. I do have another video on my channel showing how to take apart the headlights and how the LED's were installed in them. Hopefully that video will be helpful for you. Thanks for watching and commenting! 🐝

Would you happen to know why the Bluetooth would just disappear and not pop up anymore? My lights were working perfectly fine and now they just don’t even turn on anymore
That is very strange... I would try disconnecting it from the power supply and wait a bit and then hook it back up and maybe that will reset it and make it start working again. If that doesn't work it might be a possibility that the Bluetooth controller decided to die. Hopefully this will help and you can get it fixed. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Have these but having a issue with a message telling me a bulb is burnt out and left turn signal flashes way faster than the right. What can cause this and how do I fix it. Exact same kit as the video. Thx
Do you have the turn signal function hooked up on the after market halos? If not check all of your turn signals and I am betting one is burned out causing you this problem. Let me know if you don't mind and maybe I can help you out. Thanks for watching and commenting!
MeanBee392 thank you for the reply. I actually called Lighting Trendz and they suggested to pull the negative on the battery to reset the computer. I did that and let it sit for 20min and hooked it back up and when I started the car turn signals were back to normal and no message. Checked all the lights and they worked as normal so I guess it just needed a “reboot” and seems to be okay now.

How do your lights not come on when you plug into the cables mine come on and idk why?
My halos and demon eyes will turn on when I hook them up to power then I have to go in on the app and turn them off and I don't know why they do that. Thanks for watching and commenting!

What did modfx actually do to modify them I thought the lights from lighting trends already come modified. Thanks for the video as well 💯
They installed the halos and were able to leave the defuser rings in the head lights along with custom etched projector lenses. Thanks and glad you enjoyed the video!
