I recently watched a Mayco video on using lustres and interestingly they advise to NOT use lustres on green glazes. Some component ( can’t remember) causes lustres to change colour! I was actually searching to see if anyone else had tried lustres on green glazes.

Love the bee cup those gold bees 🐝 are gorgeous. I call that muddy nasty green ...horse poo green. 😆 I mean it is not a good look. I wonder why that happens and at such a low temperature. Well your video has made me look at lustre and I am after some of Karen's vinyls and those funky Ellen transfers.

Hey Sarah, thanks again for a very informative video. When I’ve been looking at overglaze decals they always seem to have a transparent border around the images. Do yours? They don’t appear to. We’re in lockdown again here in Sydney so I’ll be my studio until further notice! How did your Art Trail go? Keryn
Hi Keryn- I cut a close to the Decal as I can before applying. No problems with borders at all. Sorry to hear you're back in lockdown. Feels like we've only just got out! I have only one pot of mother of pearl lustre - the only difference is the thinners - didn't use them last time but did this time so I think I won't be using it again! Thanks for watching Wanda.😀

Amazon has a silicone fern mold that works quite nicely for adding fern details
