Consider a bigger picture - Drake hands some bands to ghostwriters who give him the material to get writing credits ( and a bigger bag) on other artists' songs. If he was that good a writer, why give Beyonce 'Heated' for Renaissance and his album in the same style that dropped around the same time is so mid? It's not adding up. What happened to his style on those 'Timestamp' songs? Where is it? His styles shift with the ghostwriters around him. This is obvious if you pull back enough (no Diddy) to look at the larger implications.
You can always tell when an artist is writing their own stuff because they have a specific style other people don't,Drake doesn't have a style so he bites off from others.

@antkingsskslsls how many wayne references are there for wayne? Ppl.have to stop trying to co.pare drake I. All situations. Peep my 17 min of drake references video. I have the comments and chat cooking me for renting to give drake the benefit of the doubt before I finally broke and said enough is enough. Im.not a drake hater
@@TheHHSBCrew that’s fine but now you’re moving the goal post, now you’re saying a rapper needs to have a certain amount of reference tracks to come out before it becomes problematic..so how many reference track would have to come out before it’s a problem? Lol I just people to keep the same energy..the rules just can’t apply to Drake
@antkingsskslsls that's not moving the goal post. That's asking for more proof. You're comparing a guy who has hours of reference tracks to a guy with 1. It's not about moving the goal post its about YOU making a comparison that shouldn't be made.
Thats more of an RnB song. We've watched Wayne freestyle off the dome. We've also watched Drake attempt to read lyrics off his phone when asked to freestyle.
This is the truth
The songwriters credits goes to both of them.
🙏🏽
Wayne bought the notebooks. Lets be real, no way he learned how to rap like he does now over the summer 😂
How we know it wasn’t Wayne referencing for Drake though? He could have .. then didn’t think Drake’s was better… then redid it and kept it
Yea that's one of the theories we talked about In here too
Drake paid for his single verse and gave it to Wayne like he wrote it 😂
Lmao
This one of my favorite Wayne songs...was going through some thangs. Lol. I think he probably just wrote the hook which i dont mind. We already know Wayne 🖊 lethal. O-V-Ho working OT to try to make reference tracks a thing for rappers but naaaahhh
Ohh okay its not just the chorus...man idk😂😂
They really trying to bring em down. Thanks for watching!
@@TheHHSBCrewgotcha!!! Keep grinding 💪
Music is collaborative and always has been idk why people are so shocked about "reference tracks" lol
@@gambothagreat because rap lyrics are generally supposed to be your own but what do I know
There's nothing drake can do, he's done. Not only that, we seen Wayne freestyle. Drake can't freestyle.
Exactly
Rms you already becoming a goat on this channel! Gotta keep hearing your perspective
Gillie da kid use to write for Wayne back then.
Big tune
I'm going off memory which is dangerous but I think this was always (feat. Drake) (Like he wrote the hook) And it was obvious. It's been awhile so i could be wrong. I started listening to Wayne when we were 12, he rapping, me listening first BG'Z album. I'm from NOLA, we are the same age and he was always a prodigy. ALWAYS. So to me, this is different than Drake.
I'm literally looking for the track bow to see if it says ft drake but I can't find it... and if it did not sure why a reference would leak??? Idk
Yea Wayne doesn't NEED any assistance I feel like this is another track to throw on a mixtape. Keep it mind, A MIXTAPE. guarantee. lotta fukery happens on mixtapes is my guess.
So Drake got it from someone and then Drake passed it off to Wayne ok
Lol could be
This is mostly hook wayne wrote some of it
I think it's mostly 1st verse
Songs that wayne sung on yeah i can see him using but wayne shit is way better drake shit sounded mid but i believe wayne still most his shit was his but songs like this i can see that he got help on songs where he made for the females
Yea the r&b bag i could see him getting help
I knew Drake wrote this because it's trash 😂😂😂😂
Haha this one was a banger tho.. thanks for watching
The way you’ll trying to discredit drakes pen is crazy yet you’ll worship you’ll god Kanye 😂
Quit with the drugs bro. Drake ain't got no pen and I don't worship ye at ALL
@@TheHHSBCrew weed ain’t a drug my nigah and I ain’t quitting 😂😂 but just cause you have reference tracks don’t mean he didn’t put pen to paper ever think of why there’s never a whole song of the reference or maybe with the word reference means yet you’ll give credit Kanye, Future, Kendrick even got references. When it’s to the point where you’ll taking out of people mouths it’s outta hand. Imagine how many people drake feed on his own imagine how many more people get fed when a person gets credited for a reference track I write for other artists and my peers and they will tweak it if I really went tf off they gonna keep it the way it is. This a deep conversation for artists and you’ll just taking credit from poster child when it’s really a collaborative thing
@Datnigahdirty_ all well and good.. NOT IN HIP HOP. NOT IN RAP. no one gets respect as #1 and it's not your own. I don't disagree that ppl are eating off drake. This is about principle. He is saying "I'm #1" on most songs. How can you be #1 if you didn't pen it?
@@TheHHSBCrew I completely agree with you is the same as Kendrick saying he’s number 1 but don’t put the work in or have the accolades .Wavy/melodic songs don’t count when it’s barred up rap that’s him those introspective songs that’s him you’ll can’t act like the man didn’t make thousands of songs and all thousand of them he didn’t write none. Why you think Kendrick go Mia you cant entertain people find time for yourself and create music you’ll need help that’s why you’ll NEVER hear a reference from any of his time stamps I rest my case
Until you’ll dethrone ye first you’ll can’t dethrone drake Kanye rarely sing he’s more of a rapper than drake but his pen don’t matter it’s not one recent ye song you can say oh yeah he wrote that all by himself tbh that’s no artist even if you ask your homie what should change the topic to that’s help not in a reference form but it’s help Drake is the greatest ARTIST not rapper that 💩 too basic idk as a artist myself that’s my opinion
