The best thing I heard was you all handled it like men and talked it thru. Ultimately, everyone must do what's best for themselves. Doing so amicably speaks to the friendship, respect and love the Tripods.

Damn this one is a tough one! I was hopin to see yall make one last run to pro league but i saw this comin with how nick has basically just bailed to play WZ! Love Nick but it was clear he didnt really want it anymore like he did when he first started this Apex stuff! The tripods got me into Apex so ill always be out here watching yall! Yeah, I don't think nick has that competitive side in him anymore. It looks and feels like he just wants to do him and by that i feel like he's going to slowly stop gaming and become more of adin ross streamer who gambles and does random stuff. Especially with this new kick money he got barely does twitch and isn't he doing gambling streams on kick?

Started watching Apex because of Nick, been watching him since 2017, when you popped in and were absolutely beamin' pro-level players, I really thought ya'll had it in the bag; the Cory Arc, the Lewda CC Arc - you saved so many of those games with clutch 1v3s, and it goes without saying the Tripods wouldn't have been anywhere special without you. You were always their best player.
A lot of the competitive community has a hatred for Nick, and it's obvious that he was unwelcome. The last CC run you guys did, missing the last lobby due to being randomly griefed was just unlucky. I always thought the 6 game format encourages griefing on the last two games, because odds are the teams in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd are going to qualify for final match regardless, so why not grief teams they don't like and people don't like Nick.
Missin' out in PLQs by one point, I personally feel like that was the nail in the coffin for Nick. That one hurt so bad I had to go take a walk, and I wasn't even competing; I know it hurt the Tripods mental. Still, the last two years Nick has brought omega viewership and vibes, and brought you and Gent together. You guys need a competent third who can anchor, Gent needs to take the IGL reigns again, and you need to be unleashed as entry fragger. That's just my viewership-pleb opinion, but I'm still gonna be watchin' the Pods, and if you guys decide to go your own way - I'll still watch.
My primary pass time the last two years has been watching you guys, and everything good ends eventually. P&L, GL out there Deeders.

Im not going to sit here and act like this wasn't a "smart" decision to help you guys improve and make a career for yourselves... but it sucks! I really enjoyed watching Nick try to make it at the highest level of Apex. For that ill always respect y'all and how hard you guys went
Reality is he was a great employer for both of you but has never been good enough to play at the pro ALGS Apex. Everyone knew it, held out hope but reality is he's a content creator and ever since gears that's all he's been in the gaming scene. GL to Deeds and Gent, hopefully now they can finally get far enough in ALGS to be where they belonged this entire time

He never had the drive to improve like Deeds and Gent. Low key the only reason he went into Apex so much is because of the Activision controversy. Now that WZ3 is out he sees dollars signs back in CoD. This is the best outcome for Gent and Deeds. Nick was the proverbial anchor holding this team down from actually getting into PL. At his best he was def better than diamond I’ve hit diamond a fair bit and I’m trash compared to him at his best. Nick just wasn’t as naturally gifted as most he’s competing against and he didn’t have the consistency.
At his best he was fine but at his worst he def hindered the team.

Look end of the day people always compare Nick to the pro scene. The literal top 1%. Was Nick as good as those fellas? No. But he's much better than a diamond player when he's on and grinding apex.
I'm a diamond player. And I suck ass. Diamond isn't hard to reach. People just hate Nick cause he's popular and opinionated. It's always trendy to shit talk people having success.
Whatever best of luck to deeds and gent. They can find a demon to team with. Nick was definitely the weakest of the three. (But there's nothing wrong with that) they made pro league together and had a blast.

Dang man I haven’t heard of this till now and been wondering. Like I kinda feel Nick didn’t care to make content on apex and not sure why, and I know it’s not just because the game sucks in most seasons. Perhaps respawns greed only shines on business deals or something too and that’s why his content was lacking the intros and comedy like usual, I can speculate all day but I always felt he wasn’t making proper apex content out of spite for some reason and just honestly have no idea. For real tho I only started watching Nick again when he started playing apex because I hated CoD, used to love watching him in the fortnite days too, but now he’s back on CoD and I probably won’t watch streams until he gets back on apex but at least the RUclips vids will be better again. Nick pairing up with both Deeds and Gent made me followers in the both of y’all, I’ll still be following the og tripods to the top, hope to see you get better. Honestly feel like Timmy should join you guys, he’d fit in way better with you than his current teammates that’s for sure, might be the perfect match really.

Damn this really sucks to hear. I feel like y’all were improving so fast and doing so well recently too. But I understand it, Nick seems genuinely happy on warzone. He liked playing with y’all but he didn’t like playing apex except for actual tournaments and algs. But ultimately you gotta play the other stuff to be your best in tourneys and algs, and Nick was doing the bare minimum of that (basically just tdm warmups) cause he didn’t like the game anymore. It may be the end of tripods but I hope to see the 3 of y’all playing together again, maybe a little reunition ranked session or one final mfam apex tourney that y’all play in together

To be honest, Nick has always been a streamer, not a pro player. Nothing bad honestly, he found Deeds in a random match and gave him a platform and a chance, and ofc Deeds will be grateful to him, but at the end of the day, Nick was never going to stick to Apex, be a Apex Pro, so wish him the best, and to Deeds and Gent, find a third and destroy those lobbies again!
bro he "stuck to apex" for 3 years lol. the game isnt going in a postitive direction at all. algs is dead. it had half the viewership in 2023 as 2022 did.
