The new addition of "play your character, quicker Evo progress" makes me so happy. Red bins are being opened, care packages are being scanned, ring consoles are being used. Love it.
A comp I've had good results with is Vantage, Path/Valk, and Conduit/Newcastle. Vantage for information with her level 2 perks, path/valk for movement, and if you need cover or shields. You could probably substitute the support if you want to double down on defense or use an assault character.
This video is great, just adding my 2 cents, general purpose tips. 1. Run meta characters, Revenenat, Horizon, Conduit, Bang, Loba etc. 2. When landing with multiple squads, usually 3 squads in one large POI, you literally can not fight first or else you’re throwing. You will be 3rd partied instantly. Simply rotate out, usually on your way out the other two teams start fighting, giving you and your squad a prime opportunity to 3rd party yourselves. 3. Don’t take every single unnecessary fight and give up a strong position in the process. If your spot sucks, go look to 3rd party and take a stronger position. If you’re in a really good spot, stay there. This applies more for end game I guess, but in general only look to grief or 3rd party if you know you can get away if things go bad.
the problem is that as a current high gold we are getting matched against rookie and bronze ex pred 3 stacks that just ape since they have nothing to lose
You’re very right, BUT I think that will pass soon. The beginning of the season can be kind of funky, but once the players spread out across the ranks more evenly the matchmaking should be better!
I definitely wanna develop better habits. So going hard early on might not be the best route. Maybe playing supp. would be my role, since i'm backline and I'm able to craft the banners. So I can dip out, craft banners, and try to revive em at theses locations.
Support is a SUPER important role to play in this game, I wholeheartedly think everyone should learn how to play a supportive style at the very minimum!
1:43 is wrong, it’s worth 10 points even off drop, currently d3 and 7x master, I push everyone with my stack and that’s the most effective way to gain in diamond and above
At about 1:41 where it says your points are -74 with 6 kp is incorrect. Each kill is worth 10 points until top 10 which are worth a bit more, so you would be sitting at -20 in diamond
Literally, and pushing everything is better if you have a good team like me, you literally gain a hell of a lot more, if you don’t there’s like 0 way of hitting predator because other people will be beating you to it because they fight more
I'm getting 600 points for wins with just 8 kp in gold. Idk how. Only thing I can think of is I'm killing higher ranks and getting more points. If that's even how the rp system works aymore

Me and my friends uses My friend wraith My other friend lifeline or conduit And I go with bloodhound Is this a good set up for ranked? Cuz we’ve been doing okay and got to silver with this set up
I think in higher ranks you might wanna swap out wraith for someone like path, just because her team movement isnt as strong imo but generally this is a great comp and you could make a case for wraith staying with basically her old tactical back

If finding a squad to play with isn’t an option, then it’s best to just try and play a flexible legend that can help your team in both offensive/defensive scenarios, and just hope you have nice teammates :( I have a solo queue guide coming soon!
Not quite: if you’re fast enough, you can scan a ring beacon at the very start of the game to get Ring 1 info, then once Ring 1 pops up, scan it again for Ring 2. You can’t do it repeatedly, that would absolutely be broken and need to be fixed!
Gibby is valuable both for his Support capabilities & his Airstrike, if you solo q or party play, as a Bang main, he’s a solid fill, if you need the banner crafting security, but also something you can use offensively or defensively like his Airstrike, personally for me I don’t think it’s as good as Bang’s but IF PRACTICED & THROWN CORRECTLY. it is just as effective.

She’s fairly good for rotation! It’s obviously not *as good* for purely rotating, but she’s so great at fighting that it’s sometimes worth it to run Maggie over someone else!

Addition for the Evo Upgrade: you can kill Prowler, Spiders and those birds for extra points. Killing a bird Even gives you +50

It's impossible to rank up with randoms, I got same 2 idiot players in 4 matches again and again resulted in losing 160 points in gold 2.

I really do enjoy the EVO changes, the idea of making in-game tasks like using beacons and support bins to level up shields is fun!
