Really liking this slide and trying to replicate this in a report. I'm encountering a problem where the shape doesn't move up on the 2nd slide in a way that matches the first slides positioning. This results in the Push transition being slightly disjointed. Any tips? I think being able to see the dialogue box on my mouse cursor (like where yours says Left/Top) would help. How do I set this up? Thanks
Hi Matthew, do you hold “shift” while dragging the selection? This makes it move in straight lines and makes it easier to position.
If you do this you only need to look at grabbing the object from the bottom of the slide, and releasing at the top.

EDIT: I found out that instead of using the push transition, you can use the morph transition, it makes it way more smooth especially if you have a different photo with a pixel off, perfect for those who wanna get a perfect transition

I went into the font selection is powerpoint and it doesnt show Montserrat, how do i get it?
Hi, you need to download it first. It’s not a standard one. You can get it from Google fonts or dafont for example 👍
So its not necessarily related to this vid, but when I tried to use the montseratt font from the last vid, it won't show up on my fonts list. Is there a plug in or an add on I need to download? I am using a mac. It lets me type it into the font box but when I hit enter it shows up as an empty gray font box.

How did you get the picture into the hexagons? When i clicked on clipboard, the each hexagon had a picture for itself instead of one who picture through all the hexagons
Hi, you need to merge the shapes together first.
@@SlideSkills I did, and the hexagons were all grouped together, but once I put the shape in, it didn't divide the picture to put it in each of the hexagons. Instead, the picture was minimised and was duplicated to fit only one hexagon.
How do you have the little box that shows the location?

When I union the shapes for the first slide, it makes my hexagons into rectangles even after ungrouping them, do you have any suggestions on how to fix this?

There should be the checkbox “rotate with shape” that you have to click.

@@yashware7640 ok, you should be able to drag and drop from your folder (download, desktop,…) into ppt. Or go to the insert tab and click “image”. Then pick the one you want

For the shape merge effect you probably need a more recent version indeed. As long as you have merge you should be fine 👍
