@Sloppy Mechanics I recently bought a VS Cast 7875 Special Build. It has the early Gen 2 compressor housing (unsure if the Gen 2 cast wheel is any different from the Gen 1 cast wheel) and the Gen 2 1.25 divided turbine housing machined to work with the Gen 1 turbine wheel. Wow, that was a mouth full!
I have searched through your RUclips videos, and didn't see much using the Cast 7875 stuff. How far do you think this turbo can go on a 5.8L (or a 6.0L if you prefer. haha) before it's done. Thanks

Yes. Lets see more turbos. I would like to see a comparison between 1 large turbo like the VS7875 and 2 smaller turbo with the aim to show low speed response for a street deal. LS 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0.

    • @RHYNOMAN12

I think the trick here to finding what people want to see is by showing things the average Joe can pick up and run. Of course a 4 thousand dollar intake will reflect the money you spent. But what can the average Joe buy and throw on his/her car to make cool street builds. Also personally. I really wanna see what you do with the project car. Put a summit turbo on it and run it around the streets!

Hey Richard thank you for this video and other videos related to the VS 7875 and K Series. We have used this info on our 944 Turbo 16V Landspeed car project. We jumped up from a VS 67/62 to the 78/75 this year and man was it worth it! We made 596hp at 6500rpm and 20psi yesterday putting us well on our way to 200mph and the world's fastest stock configuration 944. Thank you again for doing what you do!

You are on top of the comments! Just to be clear we haven't gone 200 with the car yet. We did 167 this past year at The Loring Timing Association with 375whp. So with the new Turbo and 596hp we should be able to get to our goal of 200mph before Gramp can't get in the car anymore, he's a pretty young 75 so we have some time! Thanks again

For instance, it has this A/R exhaust housing and this is the backpressure on X engine at X amount of boost. Everyone would like that data. If you could swap housings when the BP gets high, that would be awesome data as well.

I really would like to see a pair on a Devcon filled 416.7 Ford FE. Folks tell me that a pair of GT45s would be big enough, but I’d like 900 hp and keep it down to 10-12 lbs boost with a rising boost curve and a nice cool curve for the power. I have been told that a half fill 416.7 and two 7875s are a good combo for this because the FE is a very sturdy design. I have a set of cross bolt caps and main studs. I also have a pair of aluminum crossbolt caps made for #2 and 4 where they usually crack and am told by Ed Pink that it would hold 1000 hp with just that pair, and they have the side bolts and are drilled to feed oil to those 2 mains and using a pair of screw in plug s above the cam create priority oiling at 1. 2. 4.5 with just a slight enlargement of the 1 feed up to the center passage in the valley and to balance the down passeges to feed the cam well. I like the idea of the aluminum caps at 2.4 since the thrust is 3. Any thoughts?
