Such an unfair take tho, like I’m pretty sure he thought the mob that ran aggroed like 4-6 mobs plus add the stress of the moment… this is just how hc goes people make errors and bad judgment calls under stress
Miz needs to play as a healer so he can learn some awareness. First he pulled a bunch of mobs, didn’t realized it was him that pulled it, and didn’t keep aggro on them causing Emi to die. Second got his teammate killed by not paying attention to his screen. and Now in this video he ran in when Emi had less than half of her Mana, told her to run when she would’ve been fine, and over pulled even more mobs when he should’ve stand his ground.
@@pt9373 It was Miz's call to run and she asked if he was sure. Also i'm guessing you need to start asking for mb about 10 mobs early to stop Miz from chain pulling.

The most dangerous parts had already been overcome. You cannot tell me she didn't have enough mana for them to finish the fight safely, and then either eat up or hearth out. Not saying it's only her fault or only his fault, but they just both panicked and ran like headless chicken.
He's the type of player that parses 50 in raids, but tries to tell everyone how its done. Mizkif is very bad, I don't think he'd get past 19 solo on war.
I gotta say, Miz got really far while being so completely clueless about spec and gear. It's hard to not say he doesn't get carried by heals. Must have been rough AF to get this far.
Thats a risk in classic you have to take into consideration and the chain of events make that one single resist much worse. Pulling when the healer has no mana.... its the oldest story in the book. You think you quickly do 1-2 mobs and it will be fine and suddenly you pull a whole pack. So basically don't get yourself in hc into situations where 1 resist can kill you.
This is why as a tank you remain calm and work on getting the surrounding area under control LoS and hold that spot and die on if it you must. This does nothing except pulls everything you just killed that spawned back in and you die anyways... Also, that fear at the end is a death sentence... I was actually impressed that Emi did WAY better than I thought she would in this but, this falls on Mizkif cause, all he had to do was pull the extra mobs get around something and LoS the casters and that was it.
i have never played wow but why does he continue to run through more enemies? does it not just make sense to plant your feet and deal with the two or three they had at first and then just chill and heal up?
It's when the panic sets in but sometimes it is correct to run out, even if means running by 6 mobs. If you know 100% sure you're dead unless you run, you should run. You'll take damage on the way out but maybe you'll live. They panicked when they were just fine but to add insult to injury they then messed up running out when he feared and pulled more, even mobs some outside to the left, they didn't utilize LoS at all. Then they got split up somehow, not sure why Emi didn't stay with him. She was slowed but should've been able to keep up better than she did. Then she ran to the worst place in the world, a building clipped into the side of the world. Unless you REALLY know the area don't try those tricks peoples. Mobs rarely care about where you're standing in the outside world, especially when they're casters and you didn't LoS them at the same time as getting to a "safe spot". Hers was not a safe spot and was actually a trap with no way out. (I know the shape of those buildings). Most structures will provide LoS but a few rare ones don't for example most trees don't provide LoS. I think those white pillars are one of those structures that doesn't provide LoS. Even if she did climb that hill and get running up there the mobs would've just walked up the hill. They don't care how steep a hill is. They care how the polygons meet. They normally have some kind of way to get to you in the outside world. That's my semi-detailed analysis as a long time classic player.
You don't quite understand the situation. He said to run because he thought it was more than just +2 getting aggro'd. When he realised it was only +2, he said stay, but by the time Emi understood that she walked into +1 and said she was low mana. Now it's a call of stay and maybe die or run and maybe die. All this is split second decisions and panic has set in. They definately forgot just how many more there are outside, and have to stick to running.
Has to get a better sense of what actually constitutes danger. Staying and killed 2 more mobs with a pocket healer with low mana, that is a managable situation. Panicking and running through the whole thing pulling 10 guys is not lol also Asmon is right they should learn how to LOS
Why though? To get carried instead of figuring out the game for themselves? To get less intense and funny moments to make content out of? To have the hardcore experience not be hard?
@@gweeb982 Imagine thinking that people need a coach to learn to play a video game. And at least Miz has already played WoW back in the day. And considering that they've died only like couple of times, they seem to be doing just fine.

@@John-w8p The point of hardcore WoW is the fact that you'll have to start over though. If you never start over, what's the difference between hc and normal classic?
I think there is two points I'm trying to make. I immensely respect Miz and Emi for going again after tough losses of chracters. Thats point 1 but I also think back to the Mok'gura tournament with what Soda said. There was never going to be a dark horse in that tournament because the only way you get to that level is by playing with top level players. Sharing information and collaborating to push each other to the top is the only way to get that good. Miz and Emi have been grinding 1-43 for months and they aren't learning any new skills by dying 2 hours after spending 24 hours leveling back to where they were. It's time for them to learn from other players. They took their lumps and paid their dues and they deserve to learn new skills from better players.
That naga cave is on the island in Feralas, its really dangerous for most classes. I grinded for days there while leveling my rogue its a great spot, mobs have good drops, nice pickpockets and junkboxes for lockpicking, and respawn fast so you can just do laps around the cave. Many times I would have died without being able to Vanish. That's a death zone for warriors.
@@MrShimmerMan You're right but I think after Miz told her to run after she was unsure about it, she just made up her mind to run. I think if Miz knew what he was doing he would've 1. never told her to run or 2. been more adamant about her not running. Like if he said "No wait Emi! Just stay! It'll be worse if you run!" She might've stayed and they probably would've lived. He didn't it say it like that because he was also unsure. Like Asmon said, they need to have a baby sitter who knows what they're doing.
They both just kept making bad decision after bad decision, but Emi panicking saying "Im out of mana" when she was at 40% and started running to collect more mobs was the nail in the coffin. IF there was a bug with her UI that caused her to freak out, so be it, but we'll never know. When Emi started heading for the exit Miz panicked and started collecting mobs like it was Pokemon.
Also, Miz wearing every piece of gear he could get off the AH regardless of whether it was good or not is hilarious. I guess streamers can afford to splurge on the AH thanks to donations from fans.
As the healer she should be making the call to run or not. By this level you should have a good idea of what you can do with your mana. In this case 40% mana for 2 mobs is fine. You can always mana pot if needed or tell him to let you spirit tap the next mob for a bit more regen.

Miz thought the dynamite mob was going to pull a lot, and it only was 1 more siren, so 2 casters total, Emi by that time was already running and panicked when facing the new full health mob and her supposedly low mana, when Miz whispered to stop she panicked more. Lack of experience in RPGs, lack of problem solving experience in WoW, call it what you want, but her brain went into default mode, run/no mana, Miz was too slow to fix his mistake and the new mistake Emi was making, and compounded the problem by also running into more mobs and so on until they died.
biggest factors here imo as someone who has quite literally never played wow in their life, panic is #1 factor and #2 was the call to run... it wasn't necessarily a bad call in itself because he thought there was going to be 4 or more on them and shit was getting sketchy. But he realized I think and went to say something after he finished the 2 melee and saw the casters on the corner, and she kind of freaked out and was like "I DONT HAVE THIS SPELL" or w/e she was referring too and ran into the other mobs fully committing them too running... which completely doomed them. So I'll say this, miz was distracted and pulled too much/at a bad time, and he made bad call when he said to run so it was his mistakes that put them there... but honestly it was emi's mistakes that got them killed. She panicked way too hard once he said they needed to bail, she should have let him go first ahead of her or something idk exactly how it works but her running straight into agro screaming "I DONT HAVE..." is bad news bears. It's still his fault because he made the initial mistake and was "leading" the party and making the calls so its his responsibility, but you cant really blame him at the same time cause technically she was the one that got them killed. But that's just my unbiased opinion as someone who has A: never played WoW and B: no idea who either of them are other than hearing about them before Hell I don't even watch asmongold.. but I somehow got stuck in a rabbit hole of his clips.... I blame the editors.

The weirdness of the simps white knighting for Emi is unreal. It's legit so cringy. Just treat the woman like a normal human being, tell her she made some fuckin mistakes here and move on. They both made mistakes, they'll both learn, they'll both make it to 60 eventually.
So lots of mistakes and unfortunate things happened here, obviously, but Emi's mistake is continuing to group with the guy that already got her killed once(and tried to blame it on her and the other group member). I feel bad for her, because this is likely due to pressure from this guild.
No matter of my attitude to Emi, I think playing with Miz is like a death mark. Anyway, caves are always hard. Especially this one. I was fine in it playing a druid, but Felwood cave killed me on escort quest. Escort quests in caves sucks.
i made this quest yesterday as a rogue. Just grind through the mobs, kill them all, get exp, find a random mage buddy, party together, enter the cave, grind more, turn quest safely. Zero vanish, zero iceblock, kiling 1-2-3 mobs at one moment. No hurry, SAFU
If we didn't hear him correct it how could Emi have? Let's be real Miz made mistakes even before that point they should have have had to run, and in fact they didn't they could've stayed and killed remaining 2 in cave
Thing is they managed to kite 5+ mobs for so long. Can't keep my self from thinking how easily they could have just killed those two or even that 3rd mob they pulled initially.
I'd call myself inexperienced when it comes to WoW, at best, but from how it looked to me, they just ran around in a panic and just aggro'd literally everything. The whole thing just felt absolutely stupid. Like is that all that basically happened?
Kinda. But unless you played the game you dont know how hard it can be, especially for unexperienced players. Panic happens to nearly everyone at some point, raid wipes show this really well usually. 1 person fucks up 1 mechanic and everyone starts running around like headless chicken. It allways looks stupid from the outside basically.
I thought about that, imagine working a job and leveling alone without 10 people helping you farm and people giving you gold. it makes you allot more careful
Miz tried to play both the characters. Its his fault. If your guild leader tells you to do something you do it. She was told by miz to do something so she trusted the group leader and did it. Was 100% on him. Shit happens tho
I got my first HC toon, a druid, to 13. That's been my main since TBC. Then I tried mage and got to 4. That was a lesson in what "caves = graves" means.; level 4 is an especially dangerous level to be alone and have 3 mobs spawn on you in the middle of a cave. I then rerolled the same character and got to 18. Getting to 7 sounds like a walk in the park but it can't be guaranteed. Keep your valuables on that toon if you think so. Not a good idea. Shit happens and you learn from it. HC sounds unbearably brutal, but much less so if you remember two things: everybody else goes through the same thing, and we get FREE server transfers--so you can continue leveling that character on a non-HC server. Defias Pillager and Skull Rock are not just servers, but communities of characters that have never died. But dying isn't supposed to be the end. You always go again. Almost everybody has gone again or is about to (or else they wouldn't be there). I recommend leveling alts simultaneously to soften the blow :)
Flight or fight works the same in wow, you just gotta know when to do either one. As someone who has died in HC a few times, one in being on level 45. Its absolutely demoralizing. You need a week break from it and just come back and get it. You live and learn and realize how careful you have to be.
That's one of the easiest caves in the game and the best in terms of exp (mobs are too low hp for their level) you just need to know this: 1. You need to know how to LoS casters. It's a very advanced technique where you hide behind a wall/rock and the mob runs towards you. Very complicated to execute. 2. There is only ONE single patrol in the entire cave that goes in and out the cave. The pathing is very hard to track, the mob goes inside the cave at a speed of 1-2mph aproximately and turns left into the corridor and then goes back outside. It's actually the one that get's aggroed in the video. 3. Pull mobs to you, even if you charge in. This is what happens when you get mob tagged from lvl 1 a trillion times, you don't experience the game and you don't learn anything. The entire thing was avoidable if both had more experience on how to play the game in their own.
I don't understand why so many people in WoW HC (even somewhat experienced ones) do this thing where they keep moving and pulling more mobs, when it is clear they can deal with the ones already pulled. They had one mob at 21%, one at 3% (the one that fled and came back) and two casters at 100% in a corner. They had that whole room for themselves. He could one-hit the 3%, pull the 21% to the two casters in that SAFE corner, get threat on the casters and Emi's 1400 mana would be enough for this because the healing would become less intense as soon there was only the 2 casters left. Only run if you're unmistakably overwhelmed. Running away should be a low priority option, not the default reaction. And yeah it was 100% his fault, not saying this to simp or anything. She never suggested running and she was positioning safe in the cleared space at all times. The warrior was the one who kept pulling more mobs, doing a LOT of unnecessary movement past them. He played like a 8 year-old who is playing this for the first time, getting all excited and running everywhere.
No. “We” didn’t get caught up in it, you weren’t paying attention to what was going on behind you. Speaking as a healer that does mostly PUGs, the biggest issue in WOW today is wannabe tanks that think every run is a speed run and never consider group comp and what s going on behind them.
the only thing esfand is wrong about is when he says they both panicked. miz tells emi to run. she says are you sure? and miz says yea just run run. that's why they ran. miz made the bad call. it's 3 bad things that miz did. first pulling when emi was low, then pulling again immediately, then calling the run. he also ran poorly, so could be 4 things.
I find it kind of insulting to Emiru when everyone treats her like an Egg (pun intended). She has beaten all the Souls Games, she isn't new to Gaming, you don't have to treat her like a Child that needs to be taken care of. Mizkif might have some responsibility for being more knowledgeable about WoW in general, but that doesn't mean she can't do no wrong either.

This is so common and I'll never understand it.
About to suggest the same.
??????? 6:20 they have 2 mobs left, shes 45% mana, and she runs out and pulls more saying she has no mana
@@pt9373 It was Miz's call to run and she asked if he was sure. Also i'm guessing you need to start asking for mb about 10 mobs early to stop Miz from chain pulling.
Seemed like they were perfectly fine until she pulls and said she didnt have mana. He probably believed her and said they should run then, she's literally running out of the cave ahead of him at this point. @@leohuxtable439
Make a druid. That way you can learn healer and tank.
1 Never leave your healer behind
2. If your tank leaves you and pulls more mobs and you know its doom hearth immediately
As a former shaman, not letting the caster eat before the warrior Leroy's forward is pretty sickening.
Also apparently no one has any idea how much mana priest instant spells cost in vanilla. You also don't top yourself because you expect everything to go well.
True, it would work in retail, but classic is different with slower mana regen and higher casting costs.
@@leohuxtable439 At the moment of the fuck-up, Emi had 40% Mana, 55% HP, while Miz had 60%HP, and they were against 2 siren casters with a large area cleared around them. The most dangerous parts had already been overcome. You cannot tell me she didn't have enough mana for them to finish the fight safely, and then either eat up or hearth out.
Not saying it's only her fault or only his fault, but they just both panicked and ran like headless chicken.
she could drink up to full mana while he is fighting
there is no need for him to wait for her mana
People always act like the tank is holding a gun to the healers head telling them not to drink. Just sit down and drink when you can lol
I was actually impressed that Emi did WAY better than I thought she would in this but, this falls on Mizkif cause, all he had to do was pull the extra mobs get around something and LoS the casters and that was it.
imagine if miz panic like that in a raid.. oh shit, oh fuck start run.. pulls mobs and get your whole raid wiped
Who cares who's fault
instead of healing or dispelling let’s do holy nova and then say i have no mana right
i have never played wow but why does he continue to run through more enemies? does it not just make sense to plant your feet and deal with the two or three they had at first and then just chill and heal up?
Thats a good question :)
since it is a 1 life char ppl are starting too panic pretty early yeah that leads to poor decisions :D but yea you are right.
@@MrShimmerMannah ur boi miz is just bad at this game
Has to get a better sense of what actually constitutes danger. Staying and killed 2 more mobs with a pocket healer with low mana, that is a managable situation. Panicking and running through the whole thing pulling 10 guys is not lol also Asmon is right they should learn how to LOS
From 2 mobs left to 8+ because they wanted to run "i could tell" 😂
They could have easily dealt with the mobs before they started running.
That was just a panic death.
Miz going full lolcow at this point
The money he's making from playing like he has no clue is pretty legit too.
Miz ACTUALLY fundamentally doesn't understand anything about Wow, he has a childs understanding and it will stay that way until it's explained to him.
Might be a mental defect. I see a lot of children that are great at games.
I hate the most how both times he shows no empathy towards almost anything and not only that goes out of his way to blame her
I like that they keep playing together but they should being someone along with more wow experience.
The reason I think they should bring someone along is so that the experienced player could teach them and help them clutch up so they don't have to keep starting over.
I like that Asmons first concern is the lost loot. Beautiful

@@Chris-qh5tz yep, the mistakes added up.
I guess streamers can afford to splurge on the AH thanks to donations from fans.
miz told her to run tho. she said "are you sure?" and he said yes.
As the healer she should be making the call to run or not. By this level you should have a good idea of what you can do with your mana. In this case 40% mana for 2 mobs is fine. You can always mana pot if needed or tell him to let you spirit tap the next mob for a bit more regen.

Emi trusted miz when he said to run. It’s 100% on miz
Who tf cares. It's two friends playing WoW
It seemed like they weren't playing together, as if they were trying to survive separately.
biggest factors here imo as someone who has quite literally never played wow in their life, panic is #1 factor and #2 was the call to run... it wasn't necessarily a bad call in itself because he thought there was going to be 4 or more on them and shit was getting sketchy. But that's just my unbiased opinion as someone who has A: never played WoW and B: no idea who either of them are other than hearing about them before
Hell I don't even watch asmongold.. but I somehow got stuck in a rabbit hole of his clips.... I blame the editors.
Miz played this like shit, but to be fair, Emi had like 3x the mana she needed to finish the business inside the cave.
As a warrior player I have to wonder where the hamstrings were :(

Going into a cave with some mobs being two levels over you and having shit gear. Doesn’t give you much room, like you can’t make any mistakes at all

well when everything is given to you, you don't respect other peoples time and generosity.
Shit happens tho
actual skill issues, just stop powerlevelling the scrubs and make them learn
the tragedy here is the lionheart helm from the warrior's UI
Defensive stance? Disarm? Shield swap? Shield block? Shield wall? This dude should stop playing warrior, even thunderclap would have helped

I died at lvl 7 and said F this! Playing on regular classic realm 😂
Everyone look at 10:55 top right Asmons screen, its a ghost.
That's one of the easiest caves in the game and the best in terms of exp (mobs are too low hp for their level) you just need to know this:
99% of the wipe is cuz miz called to run. You kill both adds and you hearth out. Theres just a wall of adds behind you to deal with
Having a team like this is my own personal Thorgast torment.
No. “We” didn’t get caught up in it, you weren’t paying attention to what was going on behind you. Speaking as a healer that does mostly PUGs, the biggest issue in WOW today is wannabe tanks that think every run is a speed run and never consider group comp and what s going on behind them.
