here is the recipe for Baked Ziti: This is Lidia's from a comment she left earlier in the comments section. :)
      Serves 6-8
      Kosher salt
      1 pound ziti
      5 cups marinara sauce
      1 pound fresh ricotta, drained
      9 fresh basil leaves
1 pound low-moisture mozzarella, cut into ¼-inch cubes
      1 cup shredded provola
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and add ziti. Cook the ziti until just al dente, about 10 to 12 minutes, and drain.
Meanwhile, bring the marinara sauce to simmer in a large skillet. Stir in the ricotta and basil leaves.
Spread ½ cup of the sauce in the bottom of a 15-by-10-inch Pyrex baking dish. Layer half of the ziti on top of
the sauce. Sprinkle with half the mozzarella cubes and half of the provola.
Pour 2 cups of the sauce over the cheese, and spread in an even layer. Top with
the rest of the pasta, and spread 2 cups sauce over that layer of pasta.
Sprinkle with the remaining cheeses, and dollop with the remaining ½ cup of
      sauce.
Place the dish in the oven and bake, uncovered, until browned and bubbly, about 30 minutes. Let rest 5 minutes
before cutting. (If you want to assemble this ahead of time, bake for 15
minutes covered with foil, then, when ready to serve, uncover and bake for an additional
      20 minutes.)

Bravo! Make sure you cook the pasta a couple of minutes short of al dente...it will continue to cook in the oven. Also, serve with plenty of extra marinara sauce as the pasta tends to dry out al forno.

Im going to try to make this for the first time tomorrow I got the ingredients backwards I got chunks of provolone & shredded mozzarella I'm pretty sure it don't matter theyr all going in the baking dish anyway - but in the written instructions it doesn't say when & how much garlic to put in (you can never have too much garlic) I'm sure I'll need to watch the video again to do this I don't have fresh basil mines in a jar of seasoning (although I hear it's very easy to grow& I just happen to have seeds to grow my own) I better plant them for hopefully next time they do sell the fresh herbs at the store I'll bet they make a big difference to use fresh we'll see how it goes??

The ABCs of Salvation, or how to be right with God, and know you're going to Heaven:
    A-dmit that you're a sinner, and need a Savior.
As it is written: There is none righteous, no, not one. Romans 3:10
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
B-elieve that Jesus Christ died paying the penalty for your sins, and rose from the grave.
He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross. 1 Peter 2:24
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures... 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
C-all on the Lord Jesus Christ to save you, and trust only in Him for your salvation.
If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13
The moment you "believe," or, put your trust in what Jesus has done for you, God saves you and your eternal destiny in Heaven is assured. You go from spiritual death to eternal life the moment you believe.
Jesus said it this way: Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. John 5:24😀

“the zitis are...” so that’s plural? We’re baking them individually? Like they’re worms. 😂😆💕

As I've watched Lidia's cooking shows, I thought I'd give this a try. Sorry to say, I was very disappointed. I followed the written instructions, then watched the video. Perhaps I am mistaken, but they were different from one another. I would not make this again, the people I served it to were not impressed.

What can I use in place of the Ricotta? I just don’t like the taste and texture…I have a lot of my favorite cheeses, “ Parmesan, provolone, Swiss, Gouda, etc…we love cheese. Oh we also have and eat cream cheese, etc….
